INTRODUCTION
Research and statistical method of business assist in identifying the information related to
the topic on the basis of which the firm is able to make the decision. As per the case given, The ISO
9000 series which is the standards that are used for quality management assist in having an
efficient quality system. The ISO 9000 series is being adopted by various countries and it have a
close relationship with the other factors in China's service Industry. This research will include the
literature review regarding the adoption of ISO 9000 series and it relationship with other factors in
service industry. It will also include the information regarding the research methodology.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Theme : Adoption of ISO 9000 and its Relationship with other Factors in China’s Service
Industry
According to Quinlan and et.al., (2019), The service industry by adoption of the ISO 9000
series is able to manage the quality in the organisation in order to have the efficient quality system
implemented in the organisation. Using the ISO 9000 series assist the firm in developing the system
of quality management which assist in improving the level of quality of the organisation systems
which helps in improving the productivity and profitability of the firm. With the help of adoption of
ISO 9000 series the service industry is able to maintain the level of quality through which their
profit margin and customer base is increasing which is beneficial for the growth and success of the
industry. The ISO 9000 focus on maintaining the high level of quality in order to meet the customer
requirement. It assist in identifying the customer expectation on the basis of which the firm is able
to make modification in their products and services. The China is having ISO 9000 series certificate
which is equal to 342800. As per world trade organisation it is identified that the organisation
through implementation of ISO 9000 will be able to increase their opportunities which in turn will
be beneficial for the growth and success of the firm. ISO is a International organisation of standards
which was established in the year 1947. On the contrary Fuller and et.al., (2016) stated that , Many
companies with the implementation of these standards are also produce the poor quality of good and
services and thus the concept of Implementation of ISO standards is being criticised by the author
for the omission of various principles such as customer satisfaction, continuous improvement etc.
In the views of Sekaran and Bougie, (2016), there are various factors which are closely
related to ISO 9000 in China's service industry. It stated that this standard sis related to the quality
improvement of the firm but with the improvement in the quality the other factors are also improved
which helps in improving the performance and productivity of the organisation. For the
implementation of the ISO Adoption of ISO 9000 and its Relationship with other Factors in
China’s Service Industry 9000 it is required to understand the contextual factor such as company

size, industry etc. which helps in the implementation process of the ISO 9000. There are various
factors which are related to the ISO 9000 that include the customer satisfaction, improvement of the
performance , quality of service, cost efficient, improvement opportunities etc. are also improved
with the help of implementation of ISO 9000. It is critically stated by Hair Jr, and et.al., (2015),
that with the adoption of ISO 9000 by China's service industry the firm involved in the industry
have to face various problems as many of the firms are not able to improve their quality of service
by adoption of the ISO 9000 which has leads to reduction in the customer base and lack of
satisfaction is provided to the customers.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research philosophy : It is the belief regarding the way in which the data about the topic is
being gathered and analysed. There are two type of research philosophies which consist of
Interpretivism and positivism philosophy. Interpretivism is the philosophy in the researcher is able
to interpret the elements of the study. positivism philosophy include the factual information which
is related to the study (Carrión and et.al., 2016 ). In this research , Interpretivism philosophy will be
used to conduct the research in the effective and efficient manner.
Research design : It assist in identifying the type of research the researcher is conducting it
consist of qualitative and quantitative research design (Richter and et.al., 2016). Qualitative
research design involve the use of thought, opinions and views of the people whereas quantitative
design involve the use of numerical figures which are related to the study. In this research, the
researcher will use quantitative research design.
Research approach : It is the plan and procedure with regarding to conduct the research. It
consist of deductive and inductive approach. Deductive approach develop the hypothesis on the
basis of which observation are tested whereas inductive approach the observation are being based
on theory. In this research, deductive approach will be used for conducting study.
Data collection : It is the method of collecting the information from various sources which
consist of primary and secondary source (Eriksson and Kovalainen, 2015). The primary source
include the use of questionnaire which is the information collected directly from the respondents
whereas secondary information is collected through the published sources. In this study, Secondary
sources will be used as the information is being gathered from the National Bureau of Statistics of
China.
Data analysis : It is the way to identify the information through the use of analysis there are
two way to analysis the information which is gathered from the different sources. The technique of
data analysis include thematic analysis and SPSS. In this research SPSS will be used in order to

conduct the research in the effective and efficient manner.
Ethical consideration : It is important to follow the standards and norms while conducting
the research. In this research, the researcher will make the confidentiality of the information which
is gathered and will not disclose the information before getting the informed consent (Antwi and
Hamza, 2015).
ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS
a. Descriptive statistics : It is the method used summarizing the data which is being gathered from
the sample size. It assist in identifying the frequency, measures of central tendency and dispersion
etc.

Findings : From the above descriptive and Inferential statistics which has provided
information regarding standard deviation. It is identified about eh mean of the variables and the
standards deviation regarding the variables (Richter and et.al., 2016). Also, as per the T test it is
being identified that the significance level is less than 0.05 which means there is no significant
difference between variables and thus the variables are related to each other.
RECOMMENDATION
On the basis of the above finding it can be recommended to the management that with the
help of application of the ISO 9000 which will provide various benefits to the organisation and thus
the china service industry will be able to grow more which is beneficial for the firm because it will
increase the equity and profitability level (Patten and Newhart, 2017). The finding has provided
that the variables are related to each other which means changes in one variables will affect the
other. It is recommended to the management that with the adoption of ISO 9000 the firm will be
able to manage the quality system in the organisation.
LIMITATION AND DIRECTION FOR FUTURE RESEARCH
It is being identified that the research have some limitation due to lack of time the
information was not being identified through the different sources but the information which is
being provided in the research is relevant and is helpful in completing the research in the effective
and efficient manner. For the future research, the researcher can use other tools such as Stata which
is an statistical tool for the analysis. he researcher can also do the qualitative research regarding the
topic in order to gain the understanding through the use of though and opinions of different people.
CONCLUSION
From the above research which has provided understanding about the adoption of ISO 9000
series in the service industry for the quality management and for providing high quality goods and
services to the customer. It has included various methods for data collection and data analysis
through which the researcher has completed the research in the effective and efficient manner. It has
supported in identifying the finding based on the calculation in order to identify the findings related
to adoption of ISO 9000 series for the quality management in the organisation.
