INTRODUCTION
Managing and changes are required for better business opportunity. It drives new force in
the organizational environment for the better business position (Jayatilleke and Lai, 2018). Mark
and Spencer is the multinational retailer company located in London, England. This report will
cover the key part of resistance to change for organization or for individual.
MAIN BODY
Key areas which enables the organisation and individual to resist the changes:
Organizational changes define as to rejuvenate the components for better efficiency. It is
important to adapt the change for the better productivity. Due to pandemic it affects the
businesses very badly but also enable to think beyond the expectation and to design the product
for the customer (Raharjo and et.al 2018). For Mark and Spencer company they have
diversification in their product therefore they are able to satisfy their customer, but there are
some factors which can drives them to change their work place environment for their potential
growth. The key areas are as follows:
Loss of job security:
It is the major reason for the changes as if employee does not feel worthy, also if
organization is proceeded to involve the technological or other aspect which can be result in
reducing the employee to hire new for handling the new factors. Therefore, this enables the
employee to think about other options (Matkó and Takács, 2017). In Such Mark and Spencer
can proceed to provide learning process to their potential employee or make them feel important
so that they will retain to them otherwise they will have to face high turnover. Their leader also
need to required to develop personal and professional relation with the employee so that they
will feel encourage which will reflect efficiency in their work (Harrison and Bazzy, 2017).
Organizational politics:
Organizational politics impacted the work place environment very badly it stops the
company to achieve their desire goals. The main reason behind this as the power is given to the
wrong hand, therefore they misuse the power for their personal reason which affects the work
productivity, ultimately results in loss of revenue for organization (Khan, Mishra and Ansari,
