objectives. Further, in health care sector of United Arab Emirates (UAE), there is a basic
implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Besides, it is essential to manage and

Real problems and solutions
In United Arab Emirates, most of the health care units lack the facilities and execution
that is why the ultimate motive behind implementation of ERP in health care is to make a clear
overview of the activities going on in the centre. Further, the ERP helps in converting basic
decisions of the health care into the productive way. The health care sector of UAE lacks the
management of staff and customer services because of which most of the organisations are losing
market image and also affecting the citizens (Jacoband et.al., 2010). Hence, the implementation
helps in enhancing the work process and staffing of the organisation. Besides, it is important to
improve the management activities of healthcare in UAE which aims at combining financial
information, combining customer order information, improve the functioning of manufacturing
process and human resource information within the firm and minimize inventory. The biggest
problem with health care centres of UAE is they are very expensive and beyond the reach of low
income class and also not serving quality health care services.
Moreover, Enterprise resource planning assist in resolving the major problem of UAE
healthcare which is lacking advanced technology and equipment because of which employees
suffers from stress and pain as they have to manually handle the patients which impacts workers
health and safety. Henceforth, according to the legislation, it is necessary for health care
organisation to maintain health and safety of its staff members. Therefore, implementation of
ERP in health care project became necessity in UAE (Alshamsanand et.al., 2017).

quality of health care services and aids in declining of investment cost. Further, objective behind
this implementation is to reduce clinical errors and increasing health care staff (El-Rufaieand
Absood, 2013). Adopting the ERP system enables the use of various advanced equipment which
are essential to deliver the best patient services. Hence, its objective is to provide combine
solutions which connect all the departments of organisation like, finance, human resource,
marketing and research (Hammour, Househ and Razzak, 2017.).
The major advantages of implementing the software within the heath care project of UAE are as
follows:

includes all the departmental functions like finance, accounts HR and many more.
Implementation of IRR aims at smooth running of health care processes like radiology
department, managing electronic records, patient’s registration and emergency.

maintenance of electronic records.
Its motive is to provide high level of integration process among all the department's of the
health care project
Its implementation objective is to introduce proper system which will not be man
dependent.
Reduce duplicacy and provides adequate control over data.
Hence, the implementation project aims at SMART objective which ensures Specific
targets with Measurable consequences and uncertainties, Attainable targets, Relevant and
realistic ideas and Timely completion and returns (Mahmood and et.al., 2016).
