INTRODUCTIONProject management is the: Harvard defined manner in which the business carries itactivities like planning, execution, monitoring, controlling in order to accomplish goals andobjectives. Further, in health care sector of United Arab Emirates (UAE), there is a basicimplementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Besides, it is essential to manage andintegrate important parts of healthcare centre therefore, ERP implementation providesopportunity to management information system to connect all the functioning department of theorganisation. Hence, the implementation program will focus on delivering easy and bestcustomer service in order to earn market stability and customer satisfaction in UAE.Real problems and solutionsIn United Arab Emirates, most of the health care units lack the facilities and executionthat is why the ultimate motive behind implementation of ERP in health care is to make a clearoverview of the activities going on in the centre. Further, the ERP helps in converting basicdecisions of the health care into the productive way. The health care sector of UAE lacks themanagement of staff and customer services because of which most of the organisations are losingmarket image and also affecting the citizens (Jacoband et.al., 2010). Hence, the implementationhelps in enhancing the work process and staffing of the organisation. Besides, it is important toimprove the management activities of healthcare in UAE which aims at combining financialinformation, combining customer order information, improve the functioning of manufacturingprocess and human resource information within the firm and minimize inventory. The biggestproblem with health care centres of UAE is they are very expensive and beyond the reach of lowincome class and also not serving quality health care services.Moreover, Enterprise resource planning assist in resolving the major problem of UAEhealthcare which is lacking advanced technology and equipment because of which employeessuffers from stress and pain as they have to manually handle the patients which impacts workershealth and safety. Henceforth, according to the legislation, it is necessary for health careorganisation to maintain health and safety of its staff members. Therefore, implementation ofERP in health care project became necessity in UAE (Alshamsanand et.al., 2017).ObjectivesThe ultimate objective behind implementing ERP in health care project of UAE is toprovide quality patient care and cost reduction. The project plan of organisation is basically
depended on implementing Enterprise resource planning because it provides easy access overquality of health care services and aids in declining of investment cost. Further, objective behindthis implementation is to reduce clinical errors and increasing health care staff (El-RufaieandAbsood, 2013). Adopting the ERP system enables the use of various advanced equipment whichare essential to deliver the best patient services. Hence, its objective is to provide combinesolutions which connect all the departments of organisation like, finance, human resource,marketing and research (Hammour, Househ and Razzak, 2017.). The major advantages of implementing the software within the heath care project of UAE are asfollows:Objective is to minimize the operational cost and maximize the process efficiency whichincludes all the departmental functions like finance, accounts HR and many more. Implementation of IRR aims at smooth running of health care processes like radiologydepartment, managing electronic records, patient’s registration and emergency. Financial planning which aims at maintaining profitability with patient satisfaction.The objective of implementing ERP is to reduce the paper work and enhance themaintenance of electronic records.Its motive is to provide high level of integration process among all the department's of thehealth care projectIts implementation objective is to introduce proper system which will not be mandependent.Reduce duplicacy and provides adequate control over data.Hence, the implementation project aims at SMART objective which ensures Specifictargets with Measurable consequences and uncertainties, Attainable targets, Relevant andrealistic ideas and Timely completion and returns (Mahmood and et.al., 2016).Scope and targeted groups Implementation of ERP software will help the health care in enhancing the speed ofworkflow, overall productivity and efficiency. Scope of ERP activities in the healthcare activitiesare as follows:It assists in defining the business system and process.It emphasizes on training and development of activities within the heath care which arenecessary to deliver quality services to patients.
