understanding the benefits of effective social and health care settings. This report also provides

which can be taken for effective implementation of social and health care settings (Morley and
Cashell, 2017).

In society, a social and health care professional plays a major role. Through their
responsibilities, they have a good impact on their surroundings. The following are the functions
and responsibilities of health and social workers: The goal of social and health care providers is
to help family members in need. They are dedicated to settling issues in diverse relationships.
They work to provide help to the old aged and the people with mental disabilities. The social and
health care workers perform duties involving coping up with the drug or alcohol addicts and
facilitate them to the rehabilitation centers. Apart from the duties discussed above, the social and
health care workers have various rights which they can perform to make their roles and
responsibilities effective and efficient. The social and health care workers have a right to
intervene in the family or private matters in case an individual feels threatened by the harm being
caused. The workers aim to promote human development and security (Liberman, 2017). They
work to encourage social inclusion and healthy participation during the normal course of action.
The social and health care workers work to help children facing emotional shortcomings or who
have special needs. They also work to establish the independence and dignity of the adults and
the old aged people. A working relationship is a relationship that involves rules and a code of
conduct and it is necessary to follow them. In a personal relationship, there are no specific rules
or guidance.
