This research proposal aims to identify the possible supply chain management difficulties that retail-oriented firms may face in the United Kingdom and develop strategies to minimize the risks involved. The research methodology includes the use of positivism philosophy, deductive approach, survey strategy, and quantitative research method. The data collection includes both primary and secondary sources, with the primary data collected through a questionnaire from a sample size of 40 employees from retail organizations in the UK. The research outcome is expected to provide insights into the contemporary difficulties in retail work from the supply chain management viewpoint and strategies to minimize the risks involved.
