INTRODUCTIONManchester United Football Club (FC) is one of the professional football clubbased in Old Trafford that is competing into Premier league and is nicknamed as RedDevil (Ernst, 2013). It was founded in 1878 as Newton Health LYR FC and in 1902 asthe Manchester United FC. The club has won highest number of trophies than any otherclub of English Football with a record of 20 league titles. The main aim of ManchesterUnited FC club will be including revenue and profitability in way of expanding theirgrowth within business that would help into increasing brand and global community aswell (Taylor, Doherty and McGraw, 2015). For this club is formulating strategy in way ofexpanding portfolio of sponsors, developing retail, apparel and licensing of businessproduct and then enhancing reach of their broadcasting rights.QUESTION AKey stakeholders of Manchester United and evaluating their level of power andattention with Stakeholder mapping model. This localcommunity will be having lessor power in context to having included with changes inpolicies and regulations as well. Their expectation is related to having security andsafety of community rights even through time of any sort of crisis.Employees- All the employee of Manchester United FC is professional footballers whoare playing for the club with motive of earning highest profits from the professionals.The employees will be having stake within profits of company as with this only theirsalary or compensation are been earned (Chelladurai and Kerwin, 2017). They aremajor reason for success of club which also includes that if there is very good seasonthen the revenue generated will also be higher only (Welford, 2016). Governing bodies- All the governing bodies will be having major impact on policyformulation on football club so their power is very high as compared to others. Whiletheir expectation will not be too high as they are the governing bodies but could havemajor conflict with policies of football club.Fans- These are the customers or fans of club or any of the footballer who are watchingor following matches who would also be impacting the Manchester United FC. Clubmust be making procedure and policies for security and safety of these fans. They arehaving higher power in changing any rule if they are not satisfied as their expectationswill be more as compared to others. While their conflicting power is lower. Blazer family- In the year 1990 the ownership of club went into hands of private byMalcolm Glazer whose share was increased in 2003 by 3.17% to 15% and thisincreased to twice in 2004. Then in 2005 Glazer took over the other shareholders 28%of club who were J.P McManus and John Magnier which increased Glazer share to57%. Then few days later the total control of Glazer into FC club was 75% after whichhe delisted the company from stock exchange (Pye, Cuskelly and Toohey, 2016).Gradually Glazer family was having 98% of shares of club with their parent companyRed Football. Then the whole family purchased the football club of worth $1.4 billionwith having 83% of the total voting share as well which is shared among wife of MalcolmGlazer with 6 children.
