Operations management is an important part of every business, which is concerned with all
the practices of production. Operations management play a crucial role in development of a
business in short or long run. In the era of stiff competition, a business organisation should
deploy professional operational management to gain competitive advantage at the marketplace.
This report briefly covers research about all the necessary and major aspects of operations
management which are required to maintain quality management. This report explanation of
operations along with an explanation on operations management. This report also includes
various principles and operations in a company. This assignment covers how support of
operations management can help in meeting requirements of a business. For better

H&M clothing is taken into consideration. H&M clothing company is a clothing company of
Sweden which was established in year 1947. The company provides good quality of cloths to the
customers at cheap market prices and also great services.

Operations: Operations are the most important function of any organisation that includes
various activities such as supply chain, finance, marketing as well as human resource. Operations
of a company are referred to various essential activities which are necessary in production of a
commodity. In H&M clothing company there are various functions which are performed by it to
manufacture its cloths. The manufacturing process is facilitated by various operations which are
controlled by the operations management (Abedinnia, 2017). Labour which is referred to the
workforce in an organisation is considered as important part of operations. As H&M clothing
company uses machinery in its products process it also comes under the operations field. The
operations of H&M clothing company are generally facilitated with the help of operations
management and it is the ethical responsibility of management to handle all the necessary
practices. Operations at H&M clothing company are performed with proper monitoring and
supervision in order to maintain quality of production. In the practical aspect operational
activities should be developed with effective strategy and planning in order to provide quality

responsibility of H&M clothing company to include professional staff in the operations
management in order to ensure total quality production. The professional approach of operations
management will help a company to improve its quality of product and services along with
ensuring efficiency.

chosen organization
Operation management is defined as the process of multidisciplinary in nature as well as it is
discussed in the context of production and manufacturing goods and services. It is referred as the
administration that includes best business process to attain maximum level of efficiency and
effectiveness by properly executing organization resources. The respective process is related to
the converting inputs or raw materials into output or finished goods in efficient manner through
optimum utilization of resources. In H&M clothing company, ensure effective management of all
material, technology, machinery as well as labour in order to produce better quality products and
