The book chosen for this assignment is “The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, it is a book which is
linked to positive thinking and mental well-being
1. Basically, what was the book about?
The Secret is a kind of self- help book about the control of the positive discerning by
the author Rhonda Byrne, the book is mostly founded on the scientific philosophy
called the, Law of Magnetism which means there is a code that means like entices
like. Instead the writer talk about how the life is right now as it is a replication of the
past beliefs.
2. Where is the setting?
Byrne re-introduces an idea initially promoted by people such as Madame Blavatsky
and Norman Vincent Peale that thinking about convinced things that perform in one's
life. Byrne delivers instances of past people who have supposedly attained this.
Byrne quotes a three-step procedure: ask, believe, and receive. Byrne highpoints the
position of thankfulness and visualization in attaining one's needs, along with alleged
instances. Later sections define how to recover one's wealth, relations, and fitness,
with more overall opinions about the world. The chief significant thing is in what way
