There are certain environmental advantages due to development of tourism at Clipper bay such
as Clipper bay will going to bring new changes by enhancing the natural beauty, limestone caves
and numerous rock pool formations. As the natural beauty will going to increase more tourist
will going to visit at Clipper bay, people wants to explore the place more due to which the
government is concentrating more on to improve the area and planting more trees , adding more
greeneries. In order to attract the tourist, government is incorporating some effective strategies so
that more tourists come and visit the place. Clipper bay is famous for fishing, thus government is
taking some effective measures to protect the marine life and keep the environment free from
pollution. They are taking some effective measures so that the environment does not get polluted
and people could come and enjoy a hazard free environment. In order to attract more tourists,
special attention is given on improvement of the environment. Regular planting of trees and
landscaping are being done to enhance the beauty of the nature (Buckley, 2011). Huge
investment is done by the government of the Clipper bay to improve the facilities in the places
like more shades, drinking water, proper sitting areas and proper sanitation.
Disadvantages
There are many environmental disadvantages that prevail while developing the tourism at
Clipper bay. As Clipper bay is a small town and recently, it has become famous for its natural
beauty and it has also stretched the forest bordering thus, a huge number of customers has
increased and they come to visit the place to enjoy its beauty. Due to increase number of
customers the environment gets polluted and they damage the natural beauty. Waste disposal
issues occur and without appropriate measures it worsens up the situation and creates a huge
negative impact on the environment (Briassoulis and Van Der Straaten, 2013). As more tourist

visits, the pollution rises and as a result, the pollution increases in that particular area which
disturbs the ecological balance of that particular region.
