Rights of Indigenous People
Executive Summary
The term indigenous people is very common in international law but when it comes to the
separate nation the indigenous people are known as aboriginals, hill tribes, adivasis, hunter-
gatherers or in some nations they are known by their names. Indigenous Peoples are socially
different social orders and communities. The place where they inhabitant and the resources
which are given to them by nature, they are inseparably connected to their personalities,
societies, employments, just as their physical and profound prosperity (Indigenous Peoples
2019). This report will cover the aspects of compliance on the articles of United Nations
Declaration for the Rights of Indigenous People (UNDRIP) and effect of noncompliance.
There will be study on three Asian countries namely Bangladesh, China and India and their
government policies regarding the protection given to indigenous people. This report will be
concluded by giving views on working of UNDRIP and countries and the way the working
can be improved.
