INTRODUCTIONCurrent study is based on telecommunication company that operates in UK and employed5000 employees. The duties of telecom engineers are to ensure connection of telephone lines andinternet cables. Present report will discuss hazardous may arise from activities of telecomengineers. Furthermore, it will provide potential controlling measures to reduce such risks. Inaddition, risk assessment will be produced in order to ensure that company complies with law. TASK1. Hazards arise from activities of telecom EngineersThere are many risks that may arise from activities of telecom engineers. These areexplained as below:Operational riskThis is considered as on of the main hazardous activity that may arise from activity oftelecom engineers. This includes failure to improve organizational agility, failure to understandrole. In such condition engineer can get ailed to perform their duties well (Osabutey and Okoro,2015). By this way issues such as short circuit, line disturbance can be created. Operational riskscan cause harm to engineers of telecommunication firm and can affect operational efficiency ofthe business to great extent. Financial riskApart from operational risk, financial risk may also arise due to the activities of telecomengineers. If engineers are unable to understand the problem in line connection then they mayuse unwanted equipments due to which telephone lines may get destroyed. This can increase costof company and customer as well (Olson and Wu, 2015). Inability to extract values fromnetwork assets is another issue that increase chances of financial risk. Strategic riskIt is another type of risk that may arise on telecommunication firm with the activities oftelecom engineers. If engineers are unable to understand requirement of customers then it mayaffect brand image of the company to great extent. It may be possible that they may fail to adoptcorrect route to repair telephone lines. In such condition risk may arise related to consumers,competitors and investors (Taghizadeh and et.al, 2016). Because consumers may move to othertelecommunication firm ad n it can give opportunity to competitors to earn more profit. 1
