INTRODUCTION Risk Management is defined as evaluation, identification and prioritization of risks which is followedbymonitoring,andcontrollingriskshelpfulforopportunitiestobeidentified effectively (Fan & et.al., (2018). The report will analyse Gibbs’s Reflective cycle, Kolb’s Reflective Cycle and Schon Model explaining roles of practitioner. Further, Gibb’s Reflective Cycle model will help to justify practitioners’ performance in healthcare profession. MAIN BODY Explore and discuss strengths and weakness of three models while evolving over time There are three main types of reflection models which are described as – Gibb’s Reflection Cycle –Gibb’s refection cycle was formed which included factors such as – Description –Description included the experience which was being faced by practitioners. This helped practitioners in viewing their experience as how they experienced their work. Feelings -What practitioners felt about experience is depicted in feeling aspect. Evaluation –Practitioners evaluated their experience as good or bad. Analysis –This is the main stage which helped practitioners in analysing situation (Adeani & et.al., (2020). Conclusion –This helped practitioners in knowing what could have been done in a different way and what they learned in through their work. Action Plan –Action plan was framed by them to deal with situations in future. Strengths –Distinctive stages, detailed explanation etc. Weaknesses –Critical thinking process, no questions as other models etc. Kolb’s Reflective Cycle –Explained as – Concrete Experience –New situation or experience was observed by the practitioners. Reflective Observation –Particular understanding by the practitionersand importance of inconsistencies was observed by them. Abstract Conceptualization –Provided practitioners the reflection of new ideas and helped in modifying the existing concept (Miniano & et.al., (2020). 2
Active Experimentation –Practitioners learned through their ideas and analyzed what happened in their learning. Strengths –Incurs the doing process, tests out the scale of efficiency etc. Weaknesses –Superficial reflection, critical thinking is not there etc. Schon Model –Briefed as – Reflection in Action (at the current time) –Practitioners experienced by themselves by acting on the learning process immediately. Reflection on Action (after the event) –The things and changes which practitioners thought in doing and the theoretical perspectives which the practitioners gained through the learning during this model (Anderson, (2020). Strengths –Professional model, described the practitioners reflection – in – action etc. Weaknesses –Difference in other reflections as compared to them, does not provide guidance etc. These models which are Gibb’s, Kolb’s and Schon have evolved over time and has helped in making the practitioners learn about various aspects through which the reflection model can be prepared and this makes scale of knowing what is scale through which all the aspects of knowing and creating value of the learning through which reflection can be prepared. The practitioners can learn through these models that how effectively and in significant way models for the future has improved and enhanced their ways which has helped in making the learning aspects and framing the reflection for basis of how they can be implemented (Dragicevic, (2019).The models for future have improved their basis and have made changes largely which covers the framework and the details with the help of which reflection can be prepared on an effective basis.Thesereflectionmodelshavechangedwithperspectivesofindividualsandhave embedded the various detail aspects which are included in the models. Justification of the model within healthcare profession Gibbs’s Reflective Cycle had helped the practitioners in healthcare sector by taking concern of the ways through which they effectively and efficiently worked which also helped them change their ways of working and their practice in the healthcare industry. them in knowing how they performed in their learning process by applying the Gibb’s Reflective Model which is explained in detail – Description –The model helped the practitioners in analysing their roles and the experience of their work which they had performed in the healthcare profession on large scale by contributing with the patients to take concern of. They also reflected their experience in which they analyzed and evaluated their performance of their work which they contributed in the healthcare industry in an effective and significant way (Wain, (2017). Feelings -Practitioners explained their experience that how they were able to take concern of their practice which they had been performing in their healthcare profession. The healthcare profession made them feel to work towards patients and processes through which system was changed and they worked on it in an effective and efficient manner (Snowdon, (2018).The practitioners took concern of healthcare services which they provided to patients skilfully. Evaluation –Practitioners evaluated their experience while they worked in the healthcare profession and this made them analyze and evaluate their work as their performed it bad or good which created them the scale through which all the aspects ensured them that what type and in what manner they performed their work or practiced in the healthcare profession with the purpose of creating value of work through learning (He & et.al., (2018). Analysis –There had been the situations which the practitioners must have gone through which had made them realise how to work more effectively and efficiently with the purpose of knowing what they had done in manner to acquire the practice and how they had been performing within the healthcare profession (Sicora, (2017).They were able to sense the situation by working in the healthcare profession as to what they had been doing and what they did for the concern of the patients. Conclusion –Practitionersconcluded that what they learned by being in the healthcare profession and this made them analyze and evaluate their performance and the way of work which they had delivered in the profession. This also ensured them that what could have been the ways through which they could have worked in different manner (Pitts, (2021). Action Plan –Action plan was framed by the practitioners who helped them in knowing how they could have dealt with some situations and in what ways they have been changed ways in which they found problems while working in healthcare profession as a practitioner. Along with this, how they can deal with problems in future. 4
