Introduction
Moving houses have been very common nowadays. Previously people used to find it
quite risky because the process included shifting an entire house from Unitec Institute to Te Aria
Road Wellsford used to be a very tiring process, it required a lot of planning, energy as well as
money but now there are numerous organizations that do this work in affordable prices and all
the work is done by their personnel (Knoll, Schularick & Steger, 2017). The owner does not need
o waste energy for that. This process of entire shifting is done by numerous companies who have
their own suitable vehicles and personnel for doing the work. This is very helpful for people who
are house hunting (Großmann, Buchholz & Buchmann, 2014). These kinds of projects make
them buy their preferred house in their preferred location. Suppose a family is looking for a new
house and they have gone through a couple of houses, they liked a house in Unitec Institute and
aspire to buy it but they do not seem to like a location so they can buy a land in their preferred
location like in Te Aria Road Wellsford in New Zealand Auckland and shift the house to there
(El Menshawy & Shafik, 2016).This satisfies the customers and as a result the demand of these
services has risen up to 80%. The organization takes care of the financial risks faced while
relocating the house and it also finds out ways to mitigate the risks (Kropp, 2015). The company
also assures that it does not face any loss as well as the customer is not very upset if the house is
damaged a bit while relocating it. The discussion part discusses numerous points similar to the
ones mentioned above. I have been Operation Transport Manager of the organization Brinton
House movers Ltd. I am responsible for preparing report on various factors that should be
considered while relocating a house and present it to the management team.

Discussion
The suitable vehicles and their classifications
The vehicles that would be suitable for moving the entire house are huge (Knight,
Hemmings & Jobson, 2018). The organization ensures that numerous trucks that have been
allotted by them for packaging as well as moving a completely equipped to handle the
belongings of the customers. Usually trucks are used for this purpose because trucks have the
ability to carry huge loads. Usually Volvo trucks can be used because they have been used for
carrying huge loads and people or organizations have good feedback regarding their
performances (Omar, Endut & Saruwono, 2016). There are more vehicles like cargo van,
pickups, 100 foot truck, 14 foot truck, 17 foot truck, 20 foot truck, 24 foot truck and 26 foot
truck. These trucks can be used depending on the size and weight of the house.
Regulations to be followed while using public road
Moving a house might sound very interesting but actually, the job is complex (Egan,
Lawson & Kearns, 2015). People change apartments and move their belongings to their new
apartment or house but moving an entire house requires huge vehicles and great effort. The
companies that carry out these jobs have the vehicles arranged (Omar, Endut & Saruwono,
2016). While dong the task, there are numerous regulations that has to be followed. These
regulations are mentioned below.
Driving laws: diving laws vary from state to state (Barnett, 2018). The driver should
know the rules of that particular state have and he should abide by them. There have been
many cases when the owner of the house wants to shift the house and their desired
location is in the next state, the diver does not know the rules followed in the other state

and faces problem. As a result, the driver as well as the entire crew should know about
the rules followed by that particular state and the other state (Großmann, Buchholz &
Buchmann, 2014). Though there are very rare issues where the rules vary from state to
state but having no knowledge regarding the rules might make the entire process to delay
and the company might face problem as well.
Basic rules: very basic rules like seat belts and traffic signals are mandatory to remember
at any situation (Sanderson, Kayden, & Leis, 2016). In any case those rules should not be
broken by any of the team members.
Speed: speed limit should be maintained by the vehicle (Charlesworth & Ahmed, 2015).
Usually the vehicles required for relocating a house are very huge and they can be driven
in high speed. This might increase the chance of facing accidents and damaging the house
(Charlesworth & Ahmed, 2015). Driver should know the exact speed limit in which the
vehicle has to be driven and the limit should not be crossed.
Financial risk in the task and how to mitigate them
The financial expense in shifting an entire house from Unitec Institute to Te Aria Road
Wellsford in New Zealand Aukland depends on the number of things the house contains, size of
the house and weight of the house (Nelson, 2014). It also depends on the length of the journey
that has to be covered by the vehicle with that house. It is estimated that the shifting of a house
of 167.2255 square meter home from Unitec Institute to Te Aria Road Wellsford would be
around $12 to $16 per square meter. The risk involved with this is that the customers might not
agree in paying such a huge amount and they might tend to negotiate or look for other company
who would provide the same service in low cost (Charlesworth & Ahmed, 2015). This might
result in loss to the company. Sometimes the customers negotiate too much that doing the project
