Robotics: Advantages, Disadvantages, and Human-Robot Interaction

This presentation discusses the advantages and disadvantages of robotics, including their ability to improve productivity and quality, but also their limitations and high cost. It also explores the increasing human-robot interaction in various industries and the importance of accuracy in robotics. The presentation concludes by highlighting the different opportunities that robots have created in the industry.

artificial intelligence in various industry in all over the
world.

Human-Robot interaction
• It has been becoming common approach for humans
and robots to share their workplace. It has led to
increase the communication between human and
robots.

Accuracy in robotics
• Accuracy focuses on the ability of robots for targeting on
the focus point with proper accuracy.

Advantages of robots
• Robots help in carrying out several tasks in repetitive
manner for human beings.
• Robots do not take rest and can work for long hours
continuously that helps in increasing the productivity.

• The manufacturing speed can be increased and the cost
be reduced when robots are used.
• Using robots may minimize the wasting of materials.
• Using robots can improve the quality of a product by its
ability to assemble precise components.

Disadvantages
• There are various limitations in the sense of the robots.
It is difficult for them to maintain task with lot of
observations.
• Robots cannot do high precision tasks including
designing and gold jewelry and making pottery.

• The abilities of a robot can be expressed by good
mechanical technician operator.
• The cost for setting up a robot for industrial use is very
high. Medium scale and small-scale factories may not be
able to afford (Siciliano & Khatib, 2016).

enough for them to work to avoid accidents.

Conclusion
• It can be concluded that robots have been helping in
many departments of industry. Robots have been
creating different opportunities in the industries. The
human-robot interaction has been helping in increasing
the communication between human and robots in the
industry. There are various advantages of the robots
described in the reports. Despite of this there are
various limitations of robots explained in the report.
