Introduction
A multimodal project is one in which
different models for communicating a
message are used.
This presentation examines the influence of
government and unofficial censorship on the
control and consumption of the popular
culture under consideration, namely Rock
Music.

Description of popular culture
Rock music is a vast type of popular music that
began in the United Kingdom in the 1940s and
early 1950s as rock and doll.
It drew from blues and rhythm and blues genres
from African American music, as well as country
music, to grow into diverse forms in the United
States and the United Kingdom.
