TED talks are one of the most important issues in the world today. TED talks help the
organizer and the audience to present and discuss various conversations regarding urgent
business matters. Apart from the business matters, the speakers also raise the issues on the
topics of education, medical matters and business matters. In this essay, also, the readers will
discuss a TED talk which is based on the subject matter of how to gain control of one’s free
time itself.

themselves. This is because in the modern times, human beings have difficulties in finding

Discussion
When I saw, the Ted talk on the topic of Laura Vaderkam on the subject matter of
individuals gaining control of their own free time themselves, I instantly connected with the
speaker and the points that she is trying to provide to the audience themselves. This is
because I feel that the in-today’s world, the human beings are becoming more and more busy
with their work lives, which makes it difficult for them to have a personal life of their own.
The main reason for this is the excessive amount of pressure in their work life. Also, the
people of today are getting more interested in finding various new methods of earning money
(Vaderkam, 2016). This causes them to look for side businesses so that they would be able to
get some form of additional income for themselves. It is because of all these reasons that I
feel what the speaker has said in the TED talk is important. I feel that the human beings
should be able to balance their work lives and also their personal lives. If they are also able to
