The function of marketing is to maintain continuousrelationship with customer and make them aware of company products and services. The company operated on 225locations. The company slogan is low fares, made simple. The parent company of Ryanair isRyanair Holdings PLC. There are 13000 employees are serving in Ryanair company. The fleetsize of company is 439.Role of Marketing for travel and tourism Industry“The action or business promoting and selling products and services which is consists of marketresearch and advertising is known as marketing“Relation of Marketing Department with other functional departmentsThe main functional departments of Ryanair are finance department, Marketingdepartment, Human Resource Management and Operational Management (De Mooij, 2018). Themain function of the marketing department in Ryanair is to perform market research and collectthe data of customer demand and need. After collecting these data marketing department providethis to other departments to work according to customer needs.Relationship with Finance DepartmentThe operation of the finance department is to manage the financial matter of theorganization. The main function of the financial department is to conduct financial audit forcompany and different department. The funds allocated to the marketing department areprovided by finance department as per need of marketing department's operation (Chaffey andEllis-Chadwick, 2019). The marketingdepartment provides the details of openings in marketing department for specific skilled orexperienced employee. HRM conducts the recruitment drive to recruit relevant person for the jobopening in marketing department. Other work of human resource management to conduct thetraining and development sessions for employees of marketing department as per therequirements (Tuten and Solomon, 2017). The function of marketing department for HRM is toprovide them information of market to help them to design future goals and objective forRyanair.Relationship with Operational ManagementThe function of operational department is to maintain different operations within theorganization. The operation department maintain the continuity of work and performance of theRyanair and complete the projects of company with in the time limit. Marketing departmentprovides the demands and need of consumer to operation department to manage workaccordingly. Operation department manages the product manufacturing as per customer demandsand with in the time limit. This is how the operational department is interrelated to the marketingdepartment.Evolution of MarketingThe modern era marketing is too much different from the traditional and old timemarketing.
