This report discusses the role of cloud computing in modern day business organizations, benefits of cloud computing, security requirements and frameworks, and key networking infrastructure used by business organizations. It focuses on Amazon's cloud computing system and its use of LaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. INTRODUCTION
Every business organization have being using online platform to deal in modern online
business world, customer are more active on these online platform and prefer online shopping
and other daily life work. Almost every business is now listed online which allow them to reach
their audience, interact with them and collect and store their data in their storage devices. This
study is based on Amazon, this company have their own web service platform which allow user
to avail various cloud computing service (Griffith, 2016). This report will discuss role of cloud
computing in modern day business organization and will discuss three main types of cloud
computing. Later this report will discuss benefits of cloud computing. Later this report will
discuss three security requirements in managing business data and will provide framework for
the same. At last this report will discuss key networking infrastructure and will provide
spreadsheet for the business organization.

Describing the role of cloud computing within the modern day business organization:
Cloud computing means assess of data through the internet, cloud computing is mainly
used in storing the data, sending emails, watching film, TV, music and all the activities of
internet are possible because of cloud computing (Almorsy, Grundy and Müller, 2016). Every
modern business organization assess internet for some business purpose, it is very clear that
without cloud computing service people or business organization can not appear online. Modern
world business organization depend entirely on internet, there are many business organization
who do not have any physical store, but they tend to rule the industry. These business
organization who depend upon online world need large space to store their data and information,
cloud computing allow company to store their data and information in online storage. Cloud
computing help many E commerce platform to store their big database and manage them
anytime, these data are perfectly arranged to avoid any kind of confusion. Apart from providing
storage service to the business organization, cloud computing also provide other type of technical
support such as development tools, networking capabilities and hosting. Some feature of cloud
computing such as hosting provide remote data management to the company.
Amazon have being using cloud computing for managing their data, they have their own
cloud computing system which allow them to handle every remote data and even help to increase

their networking capabilities (HaddadPajouh, et.al., 2021). Amazon is one of the most successful
E commerce business organization who provide high quality service to their customer and
provide high quality online customer experience. There are three type of cloud computing such
as:
LaaS (Infrastructure as a service): LaaS (Infrastructure as a service) is a on demand cloud
computing service which allow storage and networking to the business infrastructure, laas help
business organization to reduce their maintenance affords of the data and allow company to save
money in the storing of big infrastructure and operation related data (Marinescu, 2017). LaaS
provide flexibility to Amazon in controlling and managing their IT resource, this cloud
computing device allow Amazon to bypass complexity of purchasing physical server .
Paas (platform as a service): this is third party cloud computing service where one user provide
hardware and software tools to another user to manage their infrastructure, these tools are
operating system, programming language and data and other type of web service (Rittinghouse
and Ransome, 2017). Amazon mainly focus on PaaS to assess secure internet connection and pay
only for those data and resource which they need in their business operation. PaaS is almost
same as LaaS but have many other features to such as, middleware, development tools, business
intelligence service and database management. Amazon use PaaS to bypass and avoid
complexity of expense in purchasing licenced software.
SaaS (software as a service): software as a service is cloud computing software distribution
service model which allow provider to distribute host application to the end user (Türpe, 2017).
This type of distribution activity take place over the internet where a business organization can
simply reply upon the SaaS to maintain their data using easy to assess software.
Amazon use mixture of main type of cloud computing, Amazon Web Service (AWS)
allow company to have assessed in all type of cloud computing system through the internet.
Amazon have assess over wide range of cloud computing system, this company have control
over the cloud computing system both internally and externally. Amazon assess through
confidential details and information which they store in the cloud computing storage devices.
This company use their own system to maintain smooth flow of the data and information in
business, employee can asses these data and information through these three platform which
provide maintenance to the resource and infrastructure of the business organisation.

Discussing key benefit of cloud computing:
Cloud computing technology allow company to manage and look at every part of the
organization, many large scale business organization use this technology to improve their online
performance and online action. Cloud computing allow E commerce platform to store their data
and help them to easily assess when require, Amazon greatly take benefit from cloud computing
(Vargas, et.al., 2020). Amazon try to increase their data bases capabilities by adopting cloud
computing technology in their business environment, this help them to reduce cost and manage
risk, there are certain benefit of cloud computing such as:
Improved customer service: every customer use online platform to make any purchase, they
surf more on internet to find the right product. Many business organization use cloud computing
technology to offer high quality service to the customer, these systems try to solve problem faced
by the customer in online world (Lee, Roy and Baucus, 2019). High quality service can be
ensure through using cloud computing services. Amazon is cloud based E commerce platform
who is proactive in resolving the problem and issue faced by the customer in the online journey,
Amazon always try to keep the satisfaction level of the customer high, so they try to use SLA
system to solve any quarries raised by the customer in the customer support system.
Cost efficiency: updating to cloud computing allow company to save huge expenses in storing of
data and information, these cloud computing help company to reduce unnecessary cost occur in
the process. Many business organization update their system to cloud computing to manage the
IT resource and other software, this help company to avoid necessary subscription based model
which cost more to the company. Amazon use cloud computing to reduce their cost in managing
unwanted data storage, this company mainly depend upon cloud computing to plan overall cost
strategy.
Security: business organization who adopt cloud computing have better security of the data as
compared to those companies who do no use cloud computing. Cloud computing ensure safety of
data, many E commerce platform like Amazon benefit safety and security of data from these
cloud computing system. These company store most of their data on these platforms and trust the
security feature of cloud computing, Amazon greatly use security service of cloud computing to
store their safely in their system. Cloud computing provide data breach security system to
Amazon to avoid any kind of data breach activities.

Better control: cloud computing provide better control over the document which is being stored
by the company in these online storage system, many business organization benefit from cloud
computing by storing their files which can easily assessable by the employee. Amazon use cloud
computing to assess control over document, employees of Amazon can assess through these
document and take make their work easier. It is very clear that employees of every organization
produce large number of data and information which need to be stored, they tend to use these
storing service which allow employee to store document in the system.
Suggesting three security requirement and frameworks to business organization who want
security and control over the data:
Every business organization want their data to be safe and secure in the storage, whether
it is related to physical data or virtual data. Many business organization who regularly use online
platform to manage and store their important data and information always stay concern with
security, these online platform are full of threat. Some times business organization face serious
problem when their security requirement do not meet the cyber safety rules. There three basic
security requirements that every business organization must need to have, these requirements are
such as:
Password: password is one of the most important thing, password ensure security of important
data and information and maintain user’s privacy. Passwords are combination of alphabet and
number which can provide assess to the system where the data and information are being stored.
Password are generally being used in the business organization to assess the devices, without
password a user can not assess these devices (Sunyaev, 2020.). It is very clear that E commerce
platform like Amazon need password at every level of their business process, the customer of
Amazon even need password to assess the account which they have created on the website. Some
of the confidential details and information of customer are stored in the account which need
password security, these confidential details and information are payment detail, identity and
location of the customer.
Authentication or event logging: to ensure safety and security of business data and information,
company need to authenticate some user to assess these data. Sometimes there are certain
confidential files which need to be secure, these files have threat of intrusion. Many business
who have password security sometimes even losses important data, they need authentication as
their security requirement to ensure only permissible person get assess. Amazon allows some

user to assess to their data and information, to do so person need to verified with assessable
authentication ID which can be detected at logging system (Barkadehi, et.al., 2018). Amazon use
authentication system at every level of their business process, sometimes user of Amazon have to
pass a safety test where they have to authenticate their identify before assess these system, user
can be customer or those stakeholders who have high power in the business. Customer only need
to authenticate one time if in case their network have some issue related to intrusion, whereas
stakeholders of the company need to pass authentication process before assessing or entering into
some confidential place. Authentication rights are only given to some stakeholders who have
fully trustable in the business.
Firewalls: firewall are one of the most important system every computer need, every business
organization who regularly use internet and have online assess need firewall as they key security
feature. Firewall detects the external attacks, intrusion and virus, this system completely stop the
attack of these threat and prevent loosing important data and information. In modern business
world, firewall are the key security requirement, without firewall sensitive data can be stolen by
the hackers who try to attack these systems. Amazon have installed firewall to every application
they tend to use, they have internal firewall system which allow them to detect attacks. Amazon
have sensitive database which need to be secure under firewall security system in the business

Frameworks in security and control over the data of the business organization:
International cybersecurity policy state a security frameworks must be there in every
business organization who regularly use internet. These frameworks provide instruction to the
company to manage their personal data and information and store them into security system,
many business organization mainly E commerce platform have personal detail and information
of customer which need to be safe and secure in the system. Personal details of customer like
number, address and other confidential information need to hide some intrusion. Amazon always
stay protected from any kind of attack from the online intrusion because they have security
framework which allow them to keep data safe, this company have to follow the policy of
International cybersecurity as they have sensitive and confidential data and information of the
customer. There are certain type of security framework such as:
General Data Protection Regulation Framework: GDPR is legal framework which instruct
business organization to keep safe data and information of customer, this provides guidelines to

the company in processing the crucial data and information. This framework is mainly used in
collecting data and information of European Union Citizen and done by business organization
who deal in EU territory. Many E commerce business organization like Amazon have to
mandatory follow this framework to maintain confidentiality of European customer. Every
country have their own laws and legislation regarding the confidentiality of citizen who are
potential customer of these international E commerce platform.
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS): this framework is being used by
every business organization who deal in online platform and mainly used by them who have E
commerce platform. These E commerce platform take personal details of customer, these
personal details are related to payment and transaction. It is very clear that those websites who
have wide range of product need security framework to secure the personal data of their
customer. E commerce platform like Amazon have being following PCI-DSS framework to
manage security of the data. This company have their own payment process system which avoid
third party who have risk. These platform regular update their payment processing system to
manage the transaction. Amazon knows that keeping transaction record is very important in the
payment process, these record can be store in online storage platform. This framework is one of
the most effective and keep business organization safe from any payment related attacks.
Discussing key networking infrastructure by business organization in everyday use of network:
A) Networking infrastructure means the network service which allow user to connect with one
device with other, these networks are best source of communication that help user to contact with
other user via networking (Holotiuk, Pisani and Moormann, 2017). Every business organization
have networking infrastructure that allow employee to connect device and communicate with
each other in the workplace. Networking infrastructure have hardware and software service and
facility, Amazon use networking infrastructure to maintain their communication in the business.
Amazon have their own large networking system which allow employee to share those data and
information through these networking infrastructure, this company use various type of
networking infrastructure such as:
Router: router are most beneficial thing in the workplace, every business organization use router
for certain purpose. Router help user to forward their message and maintain the traffic clearance
in the networking, router connect one device with network and allow user to assess internet.
Router are mainly used for spreading internet in every corner of the workplace, almost every

business organization have router installed in the workplace which allow employee devise to
connect and assess to the internet (Lim, 2018). In today's modern world, every business
organization mainly E commerce platform like Amazon use these routers to spread the internet in
the workplace. Router ensure smooth flow of internet and help business in completing business
operation successfully in the workplace.
Servers: server are one of the most important thing in today's world, server allow device to
connect with internet and help user to assess internet. The Best example of server are Google
server which allow user to assess internet and use web sever, every business organization need
server to connect and assess to internet for assessing webpage. Server is basically a software
which provide service to hardware and software installed in the business organization, without
server a business mainly who regularly use internet for business operation can not able to operate
and result in slow down and failure of the business operation. Amazon regularly use server to
maintain their smooth business operation, this company even have their own server. They have
application server which allow application to use central networking system and communicate
data and information through these networking infrastructure.
Ethernet: Ethernet are networking infrastructure most commonly used to connected one device
to another, these are used in connecting compatible device to internet. Every business
organization have Ethernet cable which allow employee to connect their devices like laptop and
computer to the central internet administration system (Guo, et.al., 2016). Ethernet are cable
which connected but without Ethernet load of internet can not be controlled, Ethernet usually
used in connecting router with device and allow user to assess internet. Amazon use Ethernet
cable and technology to connect their networking infrastructure to device which they use in
business operation.
DNS: domain name system are ID reader system which allow networking data to distribute in
different servers. This is decentralized hierarchy system which name server, it is very clear that
when a user try to connect to internet and search for content tend to aware about domain names,
these domain name are given to every user of internet mainly to those website who have domain
available for the process (Lou and Li, 2017). DNS distribute website traffic according to the IP
address, every IP address is unique which help these systems to easily detect and load relevant
online content to the website which can assessable by user. Amazon have their own domain
name which allow company to assess internet and user to asses through the content of Amazon.
