Role of government in the healthcare system of the United States
The government plays an important role in the healthcare system of the US. The health
system in the US is governed by the National Health Services which provide the proper fund to
the healthcare companies of the US. The federal government plays an important role in the
healthcare system as they regulate the finance of the particular system (Mossialos, et al., 2016).
Health insurance and other insurance are important in this process. The government manages the
overall quality and safety of pharmacy products and medical devices. The public health
initiatives and research can be promoted by the government.
The government performs a great role in the healthcare system of the US. The health
legislation and health policy in America relate with the Parliament, the Secretary of State
performs a legal duty to promote the services related to the health that includes care free of
charge, apart from the several services with charges also (Knickman and Kovner, 2011). The
whole charge of the healthcare service in the US performed by the National Healthcare Services
(NHS) as they have the right to access the care without discrimination and in the limits of the
various categories. The overall healthcare system in the US is managed by the NHS as NHS also
included in the constitution. The NHS works on behalf of the government of the US.
There are several arguments related to the role of government in the healthcare system of
the US as the healthcare system in the US is too different as compared to other countries and it
affected the overall economy of the country. The federal government cannot perform its role in
