An organization should use the resources in an effective manner that can help a
company in achieving the desired goal. The managers in an organization should communicate
the goals to the employees that can help the employees in performing their job in the effective
manner. The managers should build a collaborative company that can help in building a bond
in between the management and the employees. This reflective essay throws light on the
relevance of the topics of the course and how it can help me in my future profession.
I have been able to learn about the Henri Fayol’s Functions of the Management that
have helped me in understanding the different aspects of the management like the planning,
organizing, commanding, co-ordinating along with controlling. It has helped me in learning
that the allocation and the management of the workflow can help in the successful running of
an organization (Open.lib.umn.edu., 2019). I have been able to understand that the managers
should prepare themselves so that they can adjust themselves within the changing workplace.
I have learnt that the managers should understand the organizational behaviour that can help
them in motivating the individuals. It can help in the creation of the high performing team
that can help in paving the path for the success of an organization. The managers should scan
the environment that can help them in taking the effective steps in the organization.
I have understood that managers can influence the motivation of an individual by the
creation of an environment that can help in meeting the needs of an individual. The managers
should carefully think about how to design the job and develop the recognition system that
can help in the growth of an organization. I have been able to understand that the managers
should be instrumental in the creation of a motivating environment that can pave the path for
the success of an organization (Youtube.com., 2019). I have learnt that the sender of message
should be conscious regarding the objective that can help in the long-term growth of an
organization. The managers can adopt various kinds of strategies like the accommodation
along with the compromising that can help them in resolving the conflicts within the
