In the present time, hospitality sector faces the issue regarding COVID-19. In this, implication
for economic development as well as corporate profits have led to sharp selloff in the equality
market in all over the world. In COVID-19, hospitality sector assures about the safety of
customers by providing them gloves, sanitizers and face masks (AV, 2019).

BACKGROUND
COVID- 19 is infectious disease that caused through newly searched coronavirus. In this, an
individual can be infected through breathing in virus. It can be through touching contaminated
surface and then mouth, nose and eyes. This issue develops the negative impact on hospitality
sector as it reduces the profitability along with the productivity (Banks and Bowman, 2017).
AIM
To investigate the role of RACV Resort in the community development within Regional

OBJECTIVES

regards to this, hospitality sector has been established as main contributor to economy. Outbreak
of covid-19 has been impacted world in the unpredictable ways. It has impacted hospitality
sector as worst because as comparison to daily visit of consumers before spread of COVID-19
and hotels are mainly seeking the no visitations which have continued for the months now. With
more chances communicability of disease and people quarantined in homes, hotels are mainly

witnessing the zero revenues over maintenance of expensed and some other fixed cost which
they need to be bear (Beeton and Morrison, 2018).
LITERATURE REVIEW
It is one of the main part in conducting an investigation. The main focus of literature review
part is to providing the detailed information about particular subject area by attaining the
research objectives. There have been secondary sources used such ass articles, journals, books,
internet sources, scholars and the others. The present literature review is based on the role of
RACV Resort in community development of Regional Victoria (Kerr, 2018).

the people come together to take the effective action on what is necessary to them. This is related
to rooted in belief that all the people should have proper access to wellbeing, justice, health and

includes the community members to experts in lives and also communities and wisdom. The
main purpose of community development is to develop communities on the basis of mutual

 When taking the current crisis of Covid-19 into context RACV can work with different
NGO's in order to provide health and safety facilities to the community. They can work

upon providing basic necessities for sanitization to the general public in the society. It is
an important step which will help the society during this pandemic.
