INTRODUCTION

authority plays an important role in society. In this research report, the role of registered nurse are
defined that the nurse can play an effective role for giving health supportive facility to the patients. This
report also describes the main responsibilities of Registered nurse is to make the co-ordination within the
health-care in 24 hours in an environment. Registered nurse also supervise and delegate the quality and
safe function in health care field. In this report, it discuss the RN's role to making co-ordination,
supervision and delegation of quality and providing safe functional care which are provided by non-
registered nursing staff so that they can optimize the functional outcomes of older resident diagnosed
with dementia(Maten‐Speksnijder, Grypdonck, Pool, Meurs and Staa, 2014).
THE HEALTH STATUS OF OLDER PEOPLE
Ageing in a person create the dis-ability to perform the work and person getting older age is catches by
the various diseases, disability. In this condition person was not able to do any kind of work because
there body is catches by the various diseases. So that health authority plays an important role to
rehabilitation of ageing problems. In this way, health authority such as hospital, doctors, nurse, staff etc.
are plays very important role in it(Iglehart, 2013). There are three main points which are focused to
control or reduce the ageing problem and disabilities in older people, they are: Making and maintaining
the quality life, rephrasing the social, physical and psychological functioning so that it is beneficial to the
individuals and play as a safeguard so that people are protected or controlled by the various diseases and
illness. There are various impact of ageing in older people:
ROLE OF REGISTERED NURSES IN RESIDENTIAL AGED CARE FACILITIES
Nurse have the liability to give effective support by giving care and protecting the health, safety
and welfare of every patients. In this way Registered nurse delegate there work and make effective co-
ordination for giving safe staffing(Young, Sikma, Reinhard, McCormick and Cartwright, 2013).

Organisation also hire such a workers which provide effective costing skill mix. In organisation, the
shortage of nurses in such situation RN nurse gives the supportive and improve the nurse- sensitive
techniques so that it can fulfil the urgent requirement of nurse in an organisation. RN nurse having the
accountability for care and outcomes in an organisation. Nowadays, complexity are increased in patients
so that nurse should also adopt the critical thinking skills so that they can determine the type of care,
situation. Delegation remains an underdeveloped among the nurse, so that it is very difficult to measure.
It depends upon the personality, style of communication, and mutual understanding. So that the
delegation can be depend the two-way relationship such as mutually respect and trust between the RN
nurse and the helper who taking the responsibilities to perform a task(Hood, Cant, Leech, Baulch and
Gilbee, 2014).
1. Optimizing enactment of nursing roles: redesigning care processes and structures
Effective use of nursing is very critical, in this way Nursing role effectiveness model are framed
that provide practices in relation to the role of clinic and also redesign the effort. To optimizing the
enactment of nurse, is done by effective designing the job in a single patient-care unit. There are various
unit structures and process that help the RN so that they can optimally enact there accountability. In
redesigning efforts, it include the issues such as organisational leadership, timing etc. In this way to
make effective enactment of RN nurse, organisation should create a complete vision and mission, so that
nurses can prepare an effective framework and support in managing the changes and leadership
development opportunities(Phillips and Hall, 2013).
2. RN's role as a care coordination
American nurse association promotes the role of registered nurse in care coordination process so
that it can improve the healthcare consumer's care quality. Patient- centred care coordination is main role
that are perform by the registered nursing practices. Registered nurse are qualified and well enough to
perform the care- coordination especially with in high risk and high populations. They understand the
patient and there family's needs and preferences and give care quality, satisfaction and also give the
guidance of effective and efficient use of health care resources. By making partnership with others,
registered nurse are provided demonstration and guidance so that they can adopt new and innovative
techniques in design and implement or evaluate the team based care project in the way of success. In this
way the performance of each registered nurse in an organisation are defined in appropriate report manner
and as per there performance they should be rewarded time- to- time. In this way registered nurses create
a care coordination so that all the department can work effectively in order to reducing the ageing
problems among older persons(Hamlin, Davies, Richardson-Tench and Sutherland-Fraser, 2016).

3. RN's role as supervision
Registered role perform a supervisor role so that they can manage the staff, checking the patient-
care and help to establishing the policies and procedures. Registered nurse supervisor also act as
mediator between the staff, patient and patient's family(Drummond, 2014). As taking a patient care role
provided by non- registered nursing staff, registered nurse give there to provide care to patient.
Registered nurse also supervise the recruitment process and make an effective staffing so that right
person are hire in a right job so that they can make the trust and believes between the staff and patient.
As a supervisory nurse, they also involve the orientation of staff members and also provide training to
the staff members. They participate in to identify and provide the opportunities for the non-registered
nurse so that they can continue their careers. Registered nurse also make administration work and
address the policy which are taken by the organisation for a long time. So as per the changes, RN nurse
can rephrase the policy which are beneficial for all the staff members. In this way registered nurse play a
supervisory role in health care organisation to help the older person and patients or giving a complete
health care facility to them and there family(Myers, Forman, Balady, Franklin, Nelson-Worel, Martin,
Herbert, Guazzi and Arena, 2014).
4. RN's role as delegation of quality
Delegation are done as per the assessment, diagnosis, goals, strategies which are related to the
planning care are cover in this heads. Delegation are to be done by the qualified persons. In delegation
authority of the nursing practice, competency plays an important role, so that they can determine the
special area of nursing. Competency is a ability to identify the skills, knowledge and judgement so that
nurses practice safely and in a ethical manner as per there role. Competency are determined as per the
unit of work, skills which are delegate to a person. Delegation of quality can be determined as per the
consideration which includes the interest of the patient, safety issues of patient etc. Delegation role
perform by RN nurse can me done to make a supervision and accountability which involve the role nurse
as a mentor, supporter, coach etc. Hence a registered who is working a protective role should aware the
various needs such as they can motivate or inspire the older people so that they can overcome the
diseases, educate the older person so that they can help to increases there quality life and at last
registered nurse should listen the older person so that nurses can evaluate the key point which increases
the quality life of the older person(DeWit and O'Neill, 2013).
RESPONSIBILITIES OF REGISTERED NURSE
As per the above role, there are various responsibilities that registered nurse can perform,
registered nurse determine that enrolled nurse completed there work as per the complexity of the health
of consumer's need, Registered nurse also monitoring of health related status of the consumers which are

responsible for the health. In professional judgement condition which are provided by the registered
nurse, in such case delegation is not appropriate so that RN nurse can concerned with the enrolled nurse
and the employer. There are another responsibility of registered nurse is to take an accountability that
enrolled nurse are keeping the standard same or not.
ENROLLED NURSE AND THERE ROLE
Enrolled nurse are those which practise under the guidance and direction of registered nurse. In
other words a nurse which are register under the enrolled nurse practise scope is called the Enrolled
nurse. Enrolled nurse perform various responsibility such as they accept and determine the legal
limitations and understand the scope of there practise. They also have the responsibilities of giving the
name to the registered nurse who is giving direction to them. Enrolled nurse also divide the knowledge
and demonstrate the skill in carrying out the delegated nursing care.
FRAMEWORK OF NURSE'S ROLE
As per the above role basically there main four role which a registered nurse can perform to
control the ageing of older person, as a supportive function; nurses gives the support as physical and
emotional support so that it will increases the lifestyles and relationship and also ensure the cultural
sensitivity. Restorative function are mainly focused to provide functional and independent ability of a
person specially the older person. Educative functions includes the teaching and demonstration to the
nurse so that they can control the disability in older people. In this way there are various training and
educational programs are framed which helps the registered nurses so enhance there skills and
knowledge. At last life enhancing function include all the activities which mainly focused to increases
the life capacity of older person(Cowen and Moorhead, 2014).
MEASUREMENT OF OUTCOMES
By using various model of care it is examined that there are various problems which are faced by
the registered nurse by following the nursing practise. There will be failure of conceptual thoughts and
problem in interaction etc. are the factors which plays as a barriers to provide quality life of older people.
All the services which are provided by registered nurse to live independently and live free from
disability are not done properly. Ageing program are person focused so that it can not focus every older
person. So that registered nurse, enrolled nurses and many other staff members can focus on there work
effectively to control the ratio of older person which are faced from various diseases. So that there are
many person can not resolve there health issues, in this way there should be arranging a well designed
structure of nurses so that they will trained and teaches by the professional so that they can uses there
special skills to handle such condition and help the old person by providing quality of life and

demonstrate them so that they can live independently without taking any health disability on
them(Corazzini, Anderson, Mueller, Thorpe and McConnell, 2013).
CONCLUSION
As per the above report it have been concluded that to make older person independently and
providing free living standard, health- care authority plays various role. It is also determined that
registered nurse plays an important role to providing support to the older person by physically and
mentally. So that the main objective of ageing the older person is to maximize the older person's dis-
ability and dependency. In this way there are various approaches and persons are assigned to give the
support to the older person. In this report the role of registered nurse, enrolled are explained and it also
describes the conditions of older person who were suffering from many diseases. To giving a quality life
nursing staff using many approaches. The efforts which are make by the registered nurses and there
framework also concluded the result and providing the condition of older person who are sorted by the
nursing staff but there some people who cannot resolve there health issues(Burton and Ludwig, 2014).
