organization such as maintaining work life balance, managing workloads, addressing
workplace conflicts, and dealing with the co-workers (Caniëls, Neghina & Schaetsaert,

employees. The role of the senior employees might be very much essential to improve the
performance of the employees in commercial setting as they understand the exact approach
required to deal with each of these above stated challenges (Darvishmotevali, Arasli & Kilic,
2017). Work experience is very much significant for the improvement of the performance and
morale of the employees. Higher degree of result can be obtained if an employee has a huge
amount of work experience.

The major workplace issues which are usually faced in a commercial setting are
interpersonal conflicts, communications problems, discriminations, job satisfaction and
performance issues. As a result of these issues engagement of the employees usually gets

these issues, at the same time, it can be said that the role of the senior can also be very much
significant to deal with these issue and improve the performance of the employees as well.

establishment. Maintaining a positive emotional climate by the senior employee is very much
significant to encourage the other employees of the organization to meet their targets and
responsibilities (Caniëls, Neghina & Schaetsaert, 2017). A sense of belonging can be created
among the employees if a positive emotional climate is maintained by the seniors.
There are numerous ways by which positivity can be promoted in a workplace by the senior
employees like showing gratitude to every stakeholder of the business, use of positive
messaging technique, practise the concept of thankfulness, appreciation, develop positive
relationships and understanding the mission of the business. Thus it can be stated that
positivity coming from the senior employees can play a leading role in improving the
performance of the human resources in an organization.
5. Critical Analysis
According to Bardhan (2020), positive workplace environment can be created with
the help of the senior employees of a business. The researchers of this journal helped in
understanding that safety and security of the employees can be maintained if the senior
employees maintain a positive state of mind and a positive approach.
However, on the contrary, as discussed by Al-dalahmeh, Khalaf & Obeidat (2018),
clear communication among the stakeholders of the business is very much required to
improve the performance of the employees. The researcher of this journal helped in
understanding that performance appraisals are also one of the key ways to improve the
performance of the employees of any organizational setting.
On the contrary, as elaborated by Darvishmotevali, Arasli & Kilic (2017), employee
development schemes and empowerment of the employees are the only ways to improve the
performance of the employees. Utilizing the right technologies to improve business
operations can boost the performance and productivity of the employees.

According to Lumbasi, K’Aol & Ouma (2016), positive behavioral style of the senior
employees is very much beneficial to improve the performance of the employees in any
commercial setting. The researcher of this journal helped in understanding that
individualizing every approach is essential to maintain a positive state of mind in any
complex project. The researcher of the paper highlighted that knowledge sharing approach
coming from the senior employees can help to create a positive workplace relationship
(Maher, Mahmoud & El Hefny, 2017). The researcher of this journal indicated that senior
employees can also play a huge role in retaining unsatisfied employees in a contemporary
business environment.
Supporting the above discussion, Jack Welch the former CEO of General Electric
Motor quoted that there are only three measurements that tell you nearly everything you need
to know about your organization's overall performance: employee engagement, customer
satisfaction, and cash flow (Steele & Steele, 2020).
At the same time, famous author of EMPLOYEE FIRST quoted that the role of the
CEO is to enable people to excel, help them discover their own wisdom, engage themselves
entirely in their work, and accept responsibility for making change (Nayar, 2010).
The co-authors of the POWER OF HANKS quoted that when a manager recognizes
an employee’s behaviour, personally and sincerely, both feel proud, gratified, and happy.
There’s a human connection that transcends the immediate culture to create a shared bond.
The power of this bond is stronger than you might think; indeed, it’s the power that holds
together great organizational cultures (Mosley & Irvine, 2020).
