RELEVANCE OF RESEARCH TOPIC The pandemic situation of COVID-19 has left the world devastated and in this respect major role was being played by health and social workers. After the declaration of pandemic by WHO high alert was seen by all the nations (Ballard and et. al., 2020). This was the situation of crisis in which medical professional, health and social workers, front-line staff and many other followed government guidelines so that to navigate people and treat people as well. During the situation social workers was the major responsibilities that to support people and to use resources in optimal time and by developing medical attention complexities within healthcare system can be managed. Amid COVID-19 different implications were faced within health and social workers which means that health care workers were required to work in different dimensions so that they can support people and deal with this global crisis (Waters, 2020). In this health workers played numerous role and ensured that people are getting accurate and real information
so that they do not get panic and calmly deal with ground scenario. The current report is going to provide information in terms of role and responsibilities played by health and social workers amid COVID-19. This is observed that health workers are executing their duties with overtime and this is creating mental pressure within them due to which they are not able to concentrate over their personal belongings. The report will highlight such measurements and strategies launched by NHS in order to support their volunteer so that proper assistance can be given and at the same time they can perform well (Wells and et. al., 2021). On the other hand, the report is going to relate on ground manner as COVID-19 is considered as one of the emerging topic which is one of the existing topic in the current time and can be beneficial for various people to increase their understanding.
