Introduction
Telehealth technologies include the delivery of health-related services as well as
information through the assistance of telecommunication and the virtual technologies.
Telehealth technologies are helpful for the long-distance patient who are unable to go
into the hospital for treatment. Nowadays, telehealth is very important in healthcare and this
technology also involved in improving patient care. So I choose this Telehealth technology
topic for my research.
I am interested in this topic for my research because telehealth nursing primarily
includes patient care, patient education and consultation. And this type of nursing care
technologies can apply any location through the help of the internet, and video conferencing.
I am primarily using secondary qualitative data sources such as research paper,
research articles for my research.
For my research, I mainly use Google Scholar, NCBI and PubMed because these
databases are preferred by different researcher worldwide, and this database contains a large
no of the research paper, research articles and several journals that are useful for my research.
I primarily use Telehealth, eHealth, Nursing and Telemedicine search keywords for
my research.

In this article, the article primarily focuses on the benefits of telehealth technologies
among the individual, community and health care system. And the primary purpose of the
study includes the movement of telehealth education in the nursing practice.
According to the source, the telehealth technology has a remarkable impact on patient
safety and quality care. A nurse who is practising with telehealth technologies should have
different types of ability for using telecommunication technology as well as cooperative with
other health care professional. They also play an essential role in caring for the patient,
managing several data and making several decisions during the worst situation.
According to the article, this telehealth technology is beneficial in traditional nursing
care. This paper mainly focuses on the patient who is suffering from diabetes. And this
condition is continuously monitoring with the help of telehealth technologies. Telehealth

I select this topic for my research because this article focuses on the role of the
telehealth technologies in nursing practice as well as patient care and this also conclude that
how telehealth technologies are improving patient care who suffers from diabetes, high blood
pressure and high blood glucose condition. And the article also comprises of the different
benefits of telehealth technologies over patients, community as well as the various health care
system.
