IntroductionThe operations management within a company deals with the management of all the activitiesbeing carried out in a particular company. The aim of this particular study is to identify the rolesand duties of an operations manager for the improvement of the working and performance of aparticular company. The manager needs to efficiently transform the available input into theoutput desired by the company. In this study, the analysis of the business activities will be doneand the various aspects of the performance of the business will be covered.Task 1 LO1: Understanding the importance of the business aspects:P1.1 Evaluation of the relationship between the various functions andprocesses of the company: (M1)The organisational structure provides the definition of the responsibility to be carried out by theindividuals in a company. It also provides the structure of the hierarchy which is followed withinthe company. In the company ABC the organisational structure consists of the Agency Directorat the top most position. The main function of the agency director is to supervise the overallfunctions and create a proper coordination with the different personnel of the company (Adekolaand Sergi, 2016, p.45). The business development manager brings the clients for the companyand the recruitment manager is supposed to and does the development and refining of therecruitment process of the company. The next level consists of the support staffs whichfacilitates the smooth functioning of the company. The communication within the organisationtakes places through a proper hierarchy. The basic processes of the company involve theidentification and recruitment of the candidates. In the context of the ABC Company, thebusiness development manager carries out the responsibilities of fetching the clients by workingwith the sales staff of the company (Alammar and Kohn, 2016, p.65). He is also involved in thecreation of the sales and the generation of the strategies for enhancing the sales of the company.The determination of the potential client is also done by the BDM.
