INTRODUCTION
Room division management is the feature of operations management which dealing with
the making of the enjoyable environment. An important function is plays by the rooms division
in the running activity of the hotel . This is because it states the basic point of interaction which
the faculty of the hotel with the visitor.
This report will take Hotel Hilton for this case study it is American multinational
company which manages and franchise a board portfolio of the hotels and related lodging
facilities. This report will evaluate the services provided by the Room Division Operation and
this will include Front office and Housekeeping department. It will also analysis roles na duty of
the front office managers within the Hotel rooms Division department. This report will conclude
knowledge and understanding of the key legal and statutory regulations within the hotel
operations. In the end of this report will analyses the Revenue management it will also include
the factors of Revenue management and which are the highest needed tactics of the revenue
management which can utilize within the hotel to addition the day-to-day room charges.
1)The services given by the Rooms division activities
Rooms division operations are divided into different part, and they all have different
services. When guest books room in the Hotel Hilton than they 2 most active function of the
hotel work under the Room division operations (Abrate and Viglia., 2016). A division dedicated
to manage the guest necessarily and providing a smooth-textured and comfortable stay. The
rooms section of this controls everything from the customer reserve to fix their rooms and
getting the visitor check in the hotel. In this operations there task is to control and handle the
needs and demand of the guest and provide them a smooth and comfortable is important for the
staff to ensure that their guest is not facing problem and if they face then they have to solve their
problem, so they can gain trust and loyalty of the guest, and they can they will refer other to stay
and take accommodation services to the Hotel Hilton. Here two important parts of the Hotels
which work under the room's division operations.
Front office
The frond desk of the Hotel Hilton is the lifeblood of this hotel . In the Hotel frond desk
all the check in and reservation in the frond desk and this task is done by the managers or the
other front office staff of the hotel. When guest arrive I the hotel then they helps the guest to
check in the room. They also have different different roles in the front desk they have to solve

the equerry of the guest even if they just come for the ask question about the hotel then they have
to calmly give them answer of their question (Akankwasa., 2018). They welcome the guest when
they arrive in the hotels and make ready their room before their arrival in the hotel with the help
of house keeping so guest can get their room ready when guest arrive. Having protective,
exhaustive, and friendly table clerks is important, as this may be the 1st point of interaction a
client has when ejaculate at the hotel. Desk employee must manage a mixture of questioning and
demands, all while being gratifying and professional with the hotel custmers.
House keeping department
House keeping department of the Hilton also play necessary role in the Hotel Hilton in
their room division department. Their role is to cleans and well maintained the room which is
book for the guest. They have to make ready before they arrive in the hotel. They check all the
areas of the room such as bad, room , wash room and ensure that they all are properly cleansed
or not so guest can feel fresh in the room. They are also responsible to check all the equipment
and facilities in the room that they are working properly or not if they are not working then they
change with the other equipment which are working properly (Farrell and et.al ., 2018). They
also arrange all the other facilities like bed sheet , soap etc, so they can take bath because they
can be tired when they arrive in the room so this will make them feel fresh.
2) Role and responsibility Front office managers in the room's division department
Frond office manager of the Hilton hotel have some roles and responsibility in the this
hotel, and they are one of the most important part of the hotel who provide customer satisfaction
and give answer to the question of which are asked by the guest at the call or front offline. They
welcome the guest when they arrive in the hotels and make ready their room before their arrival
in the hotel with the help of house keeping so guest can get their room ready when guest arrive.
Having protective, thorough, and affable desk employee is important, as this may be the first
point of action a client has when come at the building (Gil-Garcia And et.al., 2019). Desk clerks
must pull off a mixture of questioning and demands, all while being gratifying and professional
with the visitors. They have different roles and responsibilities at the Hilton which helps guest
to get them proper facilities and make better experience for the guest of the hotels. Here are

employees and their shifty related laws , labor laws , environmental laws, licensing for the
alcohol, highness , privacy and many more regulation for the guest and employees both. This is
important for the manager of the company to ensure to have those all laws at their workplace so
their guest can take good experience in the company and employees can also feel safe at the
workplace. Here are some regulation which should be followed by the Hotel Hilton.
Employees welfare
In this law Hotel Hilton have to provide safety, medical , insurance etc to the employees,
so they can feel safe when they are working in the company's workplace. During the work they
can meet with an accident and staff members can need urgent help and medical facility. In this
law company have to put some medical emergency kit at their workplace so employees can work
without any fear. Most of the employees in the Hotel Hilton are only source of income for their
family and if anything happened so them then their will be no one who can care about their
family so it is important for the Hotel Hilton to provide insurance to the employees, so they can
be motivated, and they will give their best to achieve companies goals and their objectives
(Kimes., 2017). They also have to provide fare wages to the employees which comes under the
employment law in this industry. Uk government has decided minimum wages for the employees
so their managers and leaders should ensure that employees are getting equal salaries and wages
at the company so they can be motivated and work to make the business of the Hotel Hilton
successful. It will help them to show there presence in the UK market with the good reputation
and it will also affect on their profitability. Hotel Hilton are only source of income for their
family and if anything happened so them then their will be no one who can care about their
family so it is important for the Hotel Hilton to provide insurance to the employees, so they can
be motivated, and they will give their best to achieve companies goals and their objectives.

safe and healthy food from the hotel. It is important for the Hotel Hilton to follow those rules
otherwise UK government can take action against them and it will also affect on their image in

the guest so it will not affect on their health. They have to follow the shifty instruction related to
the guest in their hotel. Place where companies sheaf are making food should be clean, and they
should wear gloves so guest will feel safe to eat food in the Hotel Hilton Food safety laws play a
major role in the Hotel Hilton, and knowledge about how to cleanable and store food can keep
their guests risk less and assist business of the Hotel Hilton avoid lawsuits and Extra charges.
The some cases of food & beverage impurity in the news recently have demonstrated the trouble
