Summary
Natasha McKenna is an educator and program manager in Canada and working in poverty
reduction. This article has discussed very serious issues that are related to many factors in the
country as environment issues, poverty issues and with the sustainability issues of the
organisation. Destroying the branded cloths in the braded show room increases the landfill
with terrible waste. This news article describes a social campaign ran in Facebook and other
social media by the author requesting to public of Canada to boycott of a branded showroom
Carter’s/Oshkosh as this is damaging the useful cloths in the name of their widespread
policy. Role of fashion industry and government is very important to manage the activities
for sustainable development of a fashion industry (Mckenna, 2020).
