INTRODUCTIONIt is role and responsibility of the Health and Social Care (HSC) to work in such effectivemanner so that they can serve and support the individual to reduce the risk of abuse. The reportis going to cover the different types of abuse and indicators for the happening of the abuse,different abuse situations and strategies to reduce the risk of abuse by HSC.LO 1P1 Forms of abuse experienced by adultsIt has been identified that there are different types of abuse that need to be handled by theadult from the society, family, friends etc.Physical: It includes the activities which try to hurt the physical health of the child (White, Currieand Lockett, 2014). There are several ways by which physical abuse can be conducted that areabuse, hitting, slapping, punching, kicking, physical punishment, etc. With that, it also consistsof high rate of hurting such as forcible feeding, unauthorised restraints, etc. Sexual: 1
