INTRODUCTIONThe social health and well-being is very important when it comes to the well-being of thesociety. Adults being the most prominent and essential part of the society and thus this alsopromote the independence (Moss, 2017). The organisation of the context is NHS which is ahealth care firm. This report will focus on the safety of the adults and will discuss the types ofabuses that are being faced by them and the preventive measures that have been taken to avoid it.P1. Types of abuses faced by the adultsAn adult employee or theworker can face many types ofabuses like physical, sexual,emotional, psychologicalexploitation that may be thereason of his performing lowand loss of personalindependence. Apart from these, theinstitutionalabuse,discrimination at workplace,bullying, domestic violenceand suicidal tendencies mayalso be a major factor that canbe affected to play a verycrucial role in the disturbingthe well-being of theindividual adult. Many times, the adults who arebecoming the victim of theabuse are reluctant to discussabout it to anyone due toshame and stress. But this maycause an increase in theoccurrence of the cases ofabusing which may cause theindividual to lost his physical,mental and emotional well-being. P2. Indicators of the abuses faced by the individual adult.There may be sudden behavioural change in the individual which may affect the workefficiency of the adult. He may face mood swings, low self-esteem and a feeling of unknownfear of other people and seeking the attention of others towards him (Glasby, 2017).
