Safety is generally considered as an economic as well as humanitarian concern
which generally requires proper control as well as management. Different
construction sites are having different kind of safety requirements. In this filed it
is very hard to ensure that complete security exists. The employers are generally
responsible for holding the responsivity related to the health and safety of the
construction workers of the construction sites.
Despite of considering the safety of the workers a long time was taken by this
industry to cope up with the time. Due to lack of safety and regulations in
previous times all throughout time was restricted in this field.
There exists various procedures and regulations in order to ensure the security.
Besides this there also the construction companies and the clients which are
capable of getting negatively affected by the strict safety standards that exists
on the working sites, this could be encouraging the lax behaviours along with
the job performances of the workers (safeworkaustralia.gov.au, 2018).
Along with the development of the safety standards in the industry the use of
hard hats along with steel toed boots are also increasing which is considered to
be two most important protective equipment’s which are to be used by the
workers. There also exists certain other protective gears which are responsible
for protecting the workers from any kind of risk and this includes the reflective
type vests, gloves, harnesses along with the safety eye goggles and protective
masks.
Some of the heightened safety measures which are included in order to ensure
security mainly includes the routine inspection, testing the works if they have
taken any type of drug while working. All this are included in order to ensure
security of the workers.
The safety in the construction industry is developing day by day and it is
transforming for much more improvements. This would be continuing in the
