Workflow Design
Authentication Process
Information security and privacy will be extremely essential for the Sam Bot project as the
exposure of the information set will lead to the violation of the confidentiality and privacy of
the student data.
The authentication process will be one key feature that will be involved in the system. The
user stories US1 and US2 around the student and admin login will be associated with the
feature. This is because the users will be required to be authenticated in order to make sure
that they are authorised to access the system. The authentication scheme that will be used on
the system will be multi-fold authentication system. The combination of authentication
measures, such as One-Time Passwords and Single Sign on (SSO) will be used to verify the
user identity.
Student Details Processing
The student will provide the details that will be provided at the time of log in and
authentication. The student details will be processed and the analytical tools will be used to
determine the history and patterns associated with the previous data sets present in the
database.

The response to the queries will be provided on the basis of the processing results. For
instance, the student may belong to a specific course and the query may be related with the
course. The user stories as US3, US4, and US6 will be related with this feature.
