Discuss about the developed a comprehensive roadmap specifying what project should execute
in next 2-3 years.
As per scenario, GovDept’s has been involved the practices with other external consultant.
The purpose is to engage with the EA consultancy which help for consisting different
architecture that mainly specified in different areas. The entire team will participate in the project
and also collecting a lot of information about the resources (Fritscher and Pigneur, 2020).
Afterwards, GovDept coordinate with consultancy team to make a plan whereas each leaders are
playing significant role in the project execution process. In this way, it is important for
understanding the overall project need and requirement. That’s why, it is an essential part of
project which mainly created an efficient plan that always support for improving task
management.
Based on EA artefact plan, it has been analysing GovDept in term of desired as well as
current maturity of enterprise capabilities. In order to map the existing application in respective
abilities. During process planning, it has been captured the all necessary entities and also
documented the essential technologies which always support for organization development. It is
useful for defining the target application and also created the significant parameter to fulfil
requirement of business in proper manner.
Identify the role of information technology that will play role in GovDept.
Information technology has become integral part of every business plan. From multi-
national organizations who maintain their overall system. Within GovDept, it consists of
centralised IT department and team member have been undertaken responsibilities to handle the
business operation and function. If GovDept has planned to make an efficient project which
require to use IT system that supporting main function of business (Gong and Janssen, 2019).
According to case study, it has been concluded that IT system plays important role within
specific project where they can divided function into different units such as service based,
architecture and development.
The architecture function is mainly including the overall structure design which can be
possible by using information technology as solution. It provide facilities to establish the
interconnection relation between different network so that it easier to maintain and control
