 The metal bodies should be replaced by plastic to make the product lighter.
 Replace the rotators with switches. These switches should allow the users to easily
switch between channels.
 Replace non-rechargeable batteries with rechargeable ones and provide charging
cables.
 The analog display should be replaced with digital displays to display as much
information as possible, in a modern way.
C. Combine
 A music recorder facility should be added to the portable radio so as to allow users to
record their favorite songs, on the go.
 This can be done by adding a memory interface to the portable, most importantly a
Memory Card or a USB port to support portable drives.

 Headphone jacks should be provided so as to allow users to listen to the radio more
privately and with better clarity. The portable radio should henceforth be sold with an
added headphone as a crucial inside-the-box unit.
 The radio should be connectable to external speakers and woofers using USB cables
or Bluetooth.
A. Adapt
 The portable radio should come in various sizes. This way it can attract the various
groups of users. Old people at home can use the general size ones, whereas for people
willing to use the product while travelling a pocket size version should be released.
