The Nutrition is considered to be the science that tends to construe the nutrients as well as
the other substances in the food in connection to the maintenance, development, reproduction,
health and a various number of diseases of an organism. The term nutrition includes the intake
of the food, absorption, assimilation, biosynthesis, catabolism as well as the excretion. In other
words, it can be said that Nutrition is considered to be the process of giving or having the
necessary foods for the purpose of having good health and that of the growth. Therefore, it can
be said that the good maintenance of Nutrition is considered to be a significant part of having or
leading a good and healthy lifestyle. If Nutrition is being combined with physical activity, it can
help an individual to reduce as well as maintain a healthy weight. It can even help in reducing
the danger of suffering from a various number of chronic diseases like the diseases of the heart.
Therefore, it can be said that maintaining the right Nutrition can lead to the promotion of the
general health of an individual. On the other hand, it is to be noted that with the advancement of
the age, one individual tends to get prone towards a various number of deficiencies like that of
the calcium, vitamin D, Vitamin V12, magnesium as well as various other numbers of nutrients.
Therefore, it is very important to having a good nutrition in order to avoid problems in the old
age. This paper aims at understanding the importance of the connection between the
maintenance of healthy Nutrition with that of the ageing. The main purpose of the paper is to
understand the fact that the maintenance of healthy Nutrition is connected with the ageing as it
helps to remain fit and avoid problems in the period of old age.

which are namely the interpretivism, realism and the positivism. According to Saunders et al
2015), the positivism research helps to develop progress analysis on the basis of the depth of a
particular form of a study. On the other hand, it is to be noted that the interpretivism helps to
deal with the activities as well as the functions which are related to the management. However,
apart from this, the realism is considered to an approach which is mixed in its nature among the
other philosophies (Saunders et al 2015). It is to be noted that in this particular study, the
positivism philosophy will be utilized as it will further help to examine and analyse the issue in a
very rational as well as a critical manner. It is, however, to be noted that the positivism
philosophy is based on the experiences of the senses and the examination and interpretation will
be made totally on the basis of the facts (Edson, Henning. and Sankaran 2016). Thus, the two
other philosophies will be very much rejected as the philosophies tend to depend upon each
person, and the perception and the opinion of every person might vary from one to that of the
other.
