2.Summary
Media Article-
As perceived by Martynov et al. (2016), the summary of the research choose to emphasize on the
aspect of Hayabusa2 facing a lot of difficulties as well as calamities that caused it to
unfortunately return back to the Earth (Calvo et al 2016). It was not able to deal with the
challenges and the difficulties that have befallen on it(Sutherland et al 2015). As stated by Cappi
(2015), it had the great opportunity to bring back the piece of asteroid finally to Earth and
manage to answer the difficult questions which perhaps its predecessors were not able to answer
(Schutz 2018). As addressed by Kokkota et al., (2016) its inability to return on time, led it to lose
2000 grams of precious asteroid dust. It also tried to find the answers to the difficult questions,
like what was there before the planets were finally formed(Sesana 2016).As argued by Schmidt
and Davenport (2017), the various origins of life that resurfaced the Earth were concluded. It
also tried to emphasize the threats that asteroids ultimately manage to pose to the life on
Earth(Grossman, 2019).
Scholarly Article-
The scholarly article has been able to emphasize and come to a basic conclusion that the
exploration that has happened in our solar system and the information that we have been able to
obtain from Near-Earth Asteroids (NEAs) which have been both acquired by sheer progress that
has originated from the meteorite research and the progression of the asteroid. It has been able to
throw light on the aspect of World Wide research that has managed to understand the dynamics
of laboratories and the cultural boundaries. The information derived from the in-situ analysis

provides valuable set of information with regards to these points. These samples have been able
to provide valuable set of information with regards to the use of meteoroids, asteroids and finally
the origin of the solar system. The aspect of NEAs used as resources which are deemed to be
natural have managed to support the aspect of exploration of humans and also lead to the
development of the space, critically analyzing the impact of asteroids on Earth (Sears, Allen,
Britt and Yano, 2001).
3. Structure
Media Article-The structure that has been presented to the readers is in the form of Feature. It
has been categorically divided into subsections with proper sub headings so that the reader does
not find it difficult to read through the points. The sub points include Break me off a piece, the
road to Ryugu, Friendly competition and bound for Bennu. This has been competently supported
with proper set of diagrams and samples (Takahashi et al 2018).
Scholarly Article-The structure of the scholarly article has been layered with a proper abstract in
the beginning, followed by introduction, sc. Comic scientific case, Cosmic JETSAM, sample
return and in situ studies followed by concluding remarks and acknowledgements. It has also
been supported by various levels of technical details, the multiplying effect, the terrestrial model
and also diagrams that have been able to make the information lucid for the readers.

questions that plague the real world: what was there before planets were formed, whether
asteroids pose a major sense of threat to the Earth.
Scholarly article- The scholarly article has been able to deduce the experiments in a written
way through proper levels of technical analysis through sample returns and in situ studies with
the help of proper diagrams.
5.General Conclusions of the Media Articles
Media article -The media article has been clearly able to deduce the calamities and the
difficulties in the proper location of sites and their inabilities to fully state if the particular site is
bolder free. This is of a prime necessity since it might dampen the aspect of creating a major
influence on Earth if it is hit by an asteroid. It has been able to deduce the aspect of solar
system’s history by the help of Ryugu and Bennu which are considered to be the oldest objects
of the solar system.
Scholarly Article- The sample returns of the scholarly article in no way differs from the media
article because it too manages to harp on the aspects of near Earth sample missions which
satisfies the concept of international collaboration and the widespread interest from the samples.
It also harps on the aspect of asteroid sample missions which have been really difficult and rather
impossible, like the media article.
6.Criticism
Media Article – It does harp on the aspects of trying to ponder on the fact, that whether it can
ultimately convince that the sites are bolder free and would not pose a threat to the Earth. It has
been able to come to definite conclusion. It is evident that the hazard less and boulder free zones
6
asteroids pose a major sense of threat to the Earth.

have been discovered by sciebtists. This certainly do fuel their objective of mission achievement.
In no place does it criticize the data or the conclusions; however, it does try to figure out
alternative solutions to the questions raised.
Scholarly article-The scholarly article does not criticize the data or the conclusions and tries to
construct its solution based on the aspect of sample solutions that have been derived through
astronomical calculation. The calculation however have marked the mission to be somewhat
impossible.
7. Alternative Viewpoints
Media Article- The media article does not provide criticism to the entire subject. However, it
does debate on the various aspects on where the asteroids will have a positive influence on Earth.
Scholarly Article- The reason what the scholarly article presents when considering the risks of
bringing foreign material back to earth, clearly attracts the very reason behind supporting the
media article.
8. Title
Media Article- The title of the media article accurately reflects the subject that has been
discussed. It has managed to minimize the difficulty levels, what existed before the planets had
appeared, the in-situ analysis and the samples which are discussed at length, the difficulty levels
that asteroids had on the overall influence on Earth. Therefore, the title Two Daring spacecraft
aim to bring the Asteroid dust to Earth seems to be appropriate. Ryugu and Bennu seem to be
those spacecraft’s name selected for the prupose.

Scholarly Article-The title of the scholarly article accurately reflects the contents of the passage.
The title named The Case for Near Earth Asteroid Sample Return reflects the basic aspects of
difficulty.
9. Insights
Media Article- Yes, the way the insight analysis has come up with information, it is obvious in
real terms that the trying of the scientists have been fruitful in many terms. The exact
understanding of the conclusion where observation falls prey to dilemma of evaluation of ideas
have been critically analysed. The obhectives of making specific arrangements to utilise space
craft in bringing back asteroid dusts are now kept on consideration for future aspects.
Scholarly article- The scholarly article has been able to provide valuable insights into scientific
research and analysis through the help of proper technical details, insitu analysis and the
terrestrial model. This has helped me understand how the research procedures take place and
how one can come to a definitive solution.
