Homework Assignment
AI Summary
This assignment details a scientific experiment conducted to assess the impact of bio-fertilizer on the growth of potato plants. The experiment involved a control group (without bio-fertilizer) and an experimental group (with bio-fertilizer), with plant growth measurements taken over a 14-day period. The data revealed that the experimental group, treated with bio-fertilizer, showed consistent growth starting from the 5th day, while the control group exhibited slower growth. The results support the hypothesis that bio-fertilizer enhances potato plant growth. The assignment concludes by suggesting that further research could explore the impact of increased bio-fertilizer application on production levels, confirming the positive effects of bio-fertilizer on plant development.

SCIENTIFIC DATA ANALYSIS
Experiment: Effect of bio fertilizer on potato plant
1) Observation: Potato plant is growing faster
2) Variable: Bio fertilizer, plant growth
Control group: bio fertilizer not sprayed
3) If plant will grow faster on bio fertilizer addition
4) Hypothesis: The potato plant will grow faster on addition of bio fertilizer
5) To conduct the experiment we will take two potato plants growing in two different pots. One
will be control where no bio-fertiliser will be applied and in another pot bio-fertilizer will be
applied (experimental). The application of bio-fertilizer in the experimental pot will be done for
14 days. The growth of the potato plant was noted in both control pot and in experimental.

8) The data showed a constant growth of 0.5 cm for the experimental pot after 5th day, whereas in
control plant where there is no bio fertilizer there was no growth till eighth day and then even the
growth was slow and second growth was observed after 12th day. In future, it can be concluded
that bio-fertilizer increases the growth rate of the potato plant. More addition of bio fertiliser
would increase the production. After this experiment it is concluded that with fertilizer the
production of potato is high. Hence, the experiment conducted showed positive result and our
hypothesis was correct.
