INTRODUCTIONManagement of project is an art of initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closingthe work of a team to meet specific goals in a specified time (Managing a project. 2018). To gainthe objective of project, it has become essential to manage it more efficiently and smoothly. Themain aim of the project is to produce or manufacture some specific or unique products andservices within dedicated time. In this report, a new hotel City Towers requires to implement ITfacilities into its premise. In order to do this, characteristics, scope, importance, Gantt Chart,budget, response to risk and quality methods of project are discussed. In the second task, analysisof the skills and competencies along with project management process, Project Life cycle stages,leadership theories, administration and control and the problems associated with the managingthe projects are also discussed.TASK 1Characteristics of projectIn order to implement Audio Visual facilities for conference rooms there are mainly fivekey characteristics of project which are defined as under:ScopeThis is the first characteristics of project in which the covered contents are included(Amoatey and et. al., 2015). The requirement details of steps, procedures, resources and otheraspects are included in this section.ResourceThis section includes different perspectives of what steps ca be taken to meet the desiredobjective. The details of different ways is analysed to the project aim.TimeThis section includes the time bound of the project. It includes the details of allotted timefor each of the tasks separately. This helps in dividing the projects in small spans.QualityThis characteristics states that the quality of completing the project should be up to themark. This helps the company in satisfying the needs and wants of customers easily.Risk

This characteristics helps the project manager to outline the areas in which risks can behinder the project to meet its objectives. Apart from that, different ways through these risks canbe altered is also done by project manager.2. Scope statement of project and its importance.A cope statement clearly defines the scope of a project. This allows the project managerto identify the areas in which it is usable. The employees, teams and stakeholders should agree tothe scope of project before it's start. The resources and time allocation is also done with the helpof scope statement (Bayiley and Teklu, 2016). In case of City Tower hotel, the project scope willhelp the project manager identify its boundaries, constraints, assumptions, deliverables, criteriaetc. hence it has large importance. Implementing the AV facilities services in hotel has a widescope because it helps the customers and management to communicate with their seniors easily.3. Identification of critical path and Gantt Chart.Gantt chart is the graphical representation of the activities with respect to time. Therepresentation is done with the help of horizontal and vertical axis. Horizontal axis represents thetime span and the vertical axis represents the activities of project. Following is the Gantt chart ofthe project.
