INTRODUCTION
Script is to write or narrate about the particular topic which depicts the overall story
related to task. Report is the writing of something which has been observed, done, heard or
investigated. It can include the informative knowledge.
The above report includes the podcast and report about the new manager Brett Jones who
was appointed at the Hydro Generation company (HG) for completing the dam project at the
Tanzania. The various issued which is being faced by the manager while conducting its duty
their for completing the project. How it can be solved or improved by various communication
and negotiation theory so that it could be better for the company. Further the report includes the
reflective essay which describes the situation which can be handled by individual in future.
MAIN BODY
Podcast & Script -
The new manager named as Brett Jones who is appointed for the completion of major
dam project at the Tanzania. Graham Steinberg who is the vice president Hydro Generation (HG)
in United States is worried about the what measures or methods will be adopted by the Jones for
completing the project. Jones has good past experience for completing the project with minimum
budget and on time. The Jones has been working in the foreign environment whereas the
company's working for the Tanzania where the organization have an different culture within the
company (Ting‐Toomey, 2015). As a manager Jones believed that subordinates must also given
the right to take decisions and accountable for results also. The main aim of the Jones is to hire
the local people for various posts. The main issue which will be faced by the Jones is that it
could be very difficult for Jones to interact with the local people of the Tanzania, as Jones need
to establish a operating structure for the incoming managers. And the Jones has not communicate
much with local people so it is difficult for them to establish a better organizational structure. In
Tanzania there are 61% of people are Christian and 35% of people are Muslims (Ramirez Marin,
Olekalns and Adair, 2019). The Jones need to employ the local people but according to the HG
there is no formal guidelines on the lifestyle of employee but culture of company has maintained
living standard which makes company prosperous internationally. So the other issue face by the
Jones is company's culture for employ. The Jones refused to go the places where public are
gathered in the large number that can be churches and clubs. But they had to adopt the lifestyle
which will make their life easy while completing the project. Another issue faced by the Jones is
