accommodation sector is of utmost importance.
Due to several incidents of security breach in the
accommodation industry the hotel occupancy rates have
dropped down drastically (Baker 2014).If proper
measures are not taken it is expected to drop down even
more in the future considering the historically slower
growth of the foreign arrivals .
It has become a necessity to project a business-as-usual

If the guests encounter security issues in a hotel they
would prefer to stay in some other hotel incurring loss
to the hotel.
On the other hand if no issues of security are faced by
the visitor and they feel safe ,it would lead to guest
satisfaction and goodwill of the customers will result in
goodwill of the hotel. Guest satisfaction leads to profit
maximization (Berezan, Raab, Yoo and Love 2013).
Safe and secure environments for visitors is a
determinant for the success and failure of a hotel.
