INTRODUCTION The mosque is made for worship for the followers. But still according to the design andidentify it can be inferred that for which class it has been made. The structure and thearchitecture of brick lane describes that it has been made for the middle class individuals. It hasbeen witnessed that unlike the lower class people it has been seen that the luxurious societygenerally do not visit the mosque. It is considered as the one of the oldest building in the eastLondon but it still successfully standing today. According to the design and the material used inthe mosque it can be said that it is very unique and according to the taste and culture of theindividual Further the report will focus on the segregation of the social class as well asemphasize on the identity and design which has been used by the architect. All these havesignificant impact on the identity of brick lane mosque. MAIN BODY Segregation of social class as well as their taste and preferenceThe class of the individual is not defined by the position or the production which theycarry out. In the end of the east London, the distinction of the class of the class of the individualis determined by their habit, attitude and through their habitant. So according to the difference ineast end of London the social class can be divided into three categories one is the upper class,middle class and the lower class. By the appearance of the brick lane mosque the category of theclass can b e determined. The mosque which is made is not glamorous in the architecture as wellas no unique thing is used in the mosque which can signifies that it is made for the upper class. Itis constructed li8ke this because the mosque is considered as the place of worship and it regardedthat these buildings should be simple. The majority of the people who worship the mosque in theeast end London are Bangladeshi who conveys specific logic regarding the segregation of thesocial class i.e. middle and lower class people. 1
