1SELF-ASSESSMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT Executive SummaryThis report is based on the self assessment or self learning analysis of a student CAVC highereducation centre. Further, learning style is analyzed which is SWOT Analysis in this case. Theways in which style can be used in the self assessment of the student is analyzed. The waystarget setting and the targets set for the student is also analyzed. The approaches used to settargets for the student has been analyzed. The skills of the student are assessed and the skills areplanned, organized and evaluated using the Personal Development Planning program. Thisassessment is further used to give an example of a task given to the student in which he has usedthe learnt skills.

3SELF-ASSESSMENT FOR DEVELOPMENTIntroductionThis report is based on the self-assessment aspect of a person with respect to one’s ownself and also with respect to the organization he or she is attached with. Self-assessment is themethod of reviewing about oneself and evaluating one’s own strengths and weaknesses in amethodical way. This report is mainly regarding my self-assessment as a student of CAVChigher education.Further, in the report I will analyze the method of my learning and the way by which Iwill use the learning. The way of setting my own targets, and targets will I set for myself. Theapproaches used to set my targets and the learning is mentioned. Following this I will state the ways by which I will assess my skills and then organizeand evaluate those skills (Nixon 2013). Self Assessment AnalysisSelf-assessment relates to reflective skills of a student. This is the ability of a person toanalyze his or her own performance so that the strengths and weaknesses and recognize the areaswhere improvement is required. Self-assessment is required for students so that they can analyzetheir strengths and weaknesses and use the knowledge acquired in their future assignments andalso in their careers (Boud 2013). In this case I as a student of CAVC higher education am doinga self-assessment about my own strengths and weaknesses (Cavc.ac.uk, 2017).
