SELF-ASSESSMENT1
Part A
In order to understand the full potential of a person it is essential that he or she asses
the self. By utilising various types of Tools and techniques the personality traits emotional
intelligence, locus of control and other factors that directly connect the capabilities and
competencies of the person can be understood. Self-assessment is a method of looking at
oneself for assessing the aspects which is important for the identity of a person. This is the
process which instigate us and drive our self-evaluation. Based on the dominating factors
within the self we can undergo self-verification through which the strength of the
personalities are promoted and the witnesses are transformed into strengths. The process for
self enhancement which is essential for developing the personality and behaviour matching
for the Expectations of the recent business organisations.
In order to you understand the weaknesses and blind points of my personality I have
gone through several tests which have revealed some very important aspects of my identity.
These are Personality, locus of control, level of self-monitoring, and workplace emotional
intelligence. Without these tests I may not be aware about these characteristics features in my
identity that will prevent my growth in my carrier in the future. Through the understanding of
the result of these tests I have started to evaluate and reflect my own unique perceptions,
personality, emotions and attitudes. I have also understood that these can influence my own
style and approach to people leadership.
From the emotional intelligence test I have understood my control of an emotion is
average. Despite the fact I think myself to be an emotional person but I can now understand I
have ability to control my own emotion you manage any type of situation. I am capable to
recognise the emotion of the others and manage their emotions also (Lee and Chelladurai
2018). It was clear that I could recognise my own emotions but I did not know that I am also

SELF-ASSESSMENT2
capable to understand the emotion of the people around me. Through this test of workplace
emotional intelligence profile I have understood that it is the motivation which can be utilised
to motivate others. To Lee and Chelladurai (2018) the strength and emotional intelligence in
me can potentially guide to become a leader I will be able to understand the emotions of the
team members. Through empathising with their emotions I shall be able to motivate them and
create a positive work culture.
From the big five personality test, I have explored the different aspects of my
personality which I also never knew. This test reveals that I have low extraversion but high
agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism (Giluk and Postlethwaite 2015). My
openness is extremely low that makes me having rigid mentality in most of the cases. The big
five personality has revealed that the extraversion in which I have scored 25th percentile is
consisted of activity assertiveness cheerfulness, excitement seeking, friendliness and
gregariousness. DSR tubeless and activity in this category has given me a chance to take
charge and lead others. I am the least cheerful and excitement seeking therefore my dessert to
be around other people and showing interest in their lives is very low. I am not a talkative
person for which my social life is quite deserted. Agreeableness feature in me is high which
consists of altruism, Corporation were modesty of morality and sympathy (Kayiş et al. 2016).
This section reveals that I am highly energetic to be good to other people and one to help
others who need my help. Micro operation level is about average which main create problem
in my career. I am least modest but highly moral. I have low quality of believing other people
therefore the issues regarding trust is quite questionable.
Conscientiousness percentile is 78% which consists of achievement striving,
cautiousness, dutifulness orderliness, self-discipline and self-efficacy. I am striving for
achievement but not very cautious about the risks around me. I am highly beautiful and
orderly which can help me in leading other people in a best possible way I have the average

SELF-ASSESSMENT3
quality of self-discipline but self-efficacy is high (Judge and Zapata 2015). This means that if
I want to do something I would complete the task by any means.
Neuroticism consists of anger, anxiety, depression, immoderations, self-consciousness
and vulnerability (De las Cuevas et al. 2015). My anger percentile is extremely high and so
also so that of the anxiety. My depression percentile is about average but immoderation is
high. This means that I have low self-control and ability to resist temptations. I am having an
effective emotional control but cannot these factors.
The openness to experience is extremely low in me therefore I am not very
adventurous nor I have artistic interests. Despite the fact I am highly emotional but not very
imaginative intellectual and liberal of thought. This can affect me e in the long run of my
career to be a manager or a leader of a company.
The locus of control score is 6 and self-monitoring is 11. The locus of control refers to
the extent to which the people feel that they have perfect control over the incidence which
can influence their lives. The locus of control spans between 0 to 23 and my score here is 6.
This means I do not possess high locus of control therefore do not believe whether the
outcome of my action will be the contingent on what I do (Hosseini et al. 2016). The internal
locus of control helps me to take responsibility of my actions. This is the reason why I am
listen fluent by the opinions of the others. I am better in doing tasks when I am allowed to
work in my own pace. I have strong sense of self efficacy as mentioned before therefore
tends to work hard for achieving the things I want.
From the self-monitoring scale I have understood that I forces low self-monitoring
ability of behaviour. This leads me to exhibit expressive controls congruent with my own
internal steps like attitudes, beliefs, and dispositions without social circumstances. I am a low
self-monitor therefore less observant of the social contexts. I do not consider expressing a

SELF-ASSESSMENT4
self-presentation same from the internal still as undesirable. I am unwilling to self-monitor
therefore adjust my behaviour according to the situation (Wilmot et al. 2016). I am easily
motivated by the feelings of guilt anger, low self-concept isolation and the depression this is
the reason why different social situations can make me awkward and result in loss of faith of
the people around me. From the result of self-monitoring test, I have understood I react to the
situations unconsciously (Kudret, Erdogan and Bauer 2019). I am less willing to adjust my
behaviour with time and situation therefore the quality of reception, being pleasant and
benevolent is not present in me. However these test are highly effective to reveal the hidden
qualities and weakness of the persons making them empowered to overcome the problems
through proper strategies.

Recommendation:
Analysis of part I have found out that different tests can reveal different aspects of my
personality and identify the weaknesses that I have to transform into my strengths. For being
a successful leader of people I need to have certain qualities that cannot be developed through
training or research process. The problems of personality and control of locus are the inner
psychological matter which can be solved only by me. This is the reason why I need to work
on these negative aspects of my personality and behaviour so that I can enhance my
capability of seeing one incident from different point of view and decide to respond to that
incident in a positive way. In order to overcome the problems of rigidity, low locus of control
and Communication issues I can follow some very important steps which are-
Firstly I have to increase the Periphery of my friends. I mix with very few people with
whom my mentality matches. In order to become a successful leader I have to mix with
different types of people with different types of personalities with all of them I have to mix
and communicate. In this case if I feel shy or introvert I cannot achieve my goal. This is the
