INTRODUCTIONIn the past few decades, there has been a growing awareness that is the most essential forleader’s success in a globalized environment as it is a synthesis of emotional intelligence andcultural intelligence. Self-analysis is the effective process which leads to success that also helpsto an individual to take the more challenging and effective goals. Emotional intelligence is a toolto identify self-awareness that helps to manage own emotions and internal capacity to intuitivelynavigate diverse social environments. Present study will be based on emotional and cultural intelligence on self-awareness. Thisstudy will be explaining how self-awareness and continuous self-development will fulfil asuccessful leader’s or manager’s role in the future. Apart from that, it will also explain twocritical incidents, which reflect upon findings and emotional intelligence, managementcompetencies and personality tests. Self-examination helps to define our own strengths andweaknesses through personal development will also be explained further in this study. MAIN BODY 1. Self-awareness and continuous self-development is helpful to fulfil the role of successfulleader and managerSelf-awareness is the major goal and well implementing model process of self-development process. Apart from this self-awareness is the another goal objective performingfacts to improve in more effective manner. Self-knowing is a regular activity to keep a review onthe basis of individual high performance (Ang & Van Dyne, (2015). It also helps to sustain long-term process to implement in more effective manner. Self-sentience is the cognitive process,which involves information from personal experience and external reality. Self-awareness is theprocess to identify better objectives' and task performing goals. Continuous development is another important term that helps to keep up possibilities andpotential to develop new strengths and skills. It is the long-term process to enhance personalskills and knowledge. Apart from that, it is the evolutionary process for self-assessment to makea better tomorrow than present. Manager plays a crucial role in an organisation to manage allessential tasks performance (Ang & Van Dyne, 2015). Manager is the one who is able to enhancepotential and possibilities in an organization. On the other hand, manager plays an important rolefor generating more profit and revenue in the company. achieve final goals of an individual for the future. They also help to achieve goals and objectivesand profit making performance. Continuous professional development grows an individual’s capacity level that makes theleading opportunity goals for an individual working performance. Development requires moreskills and knowledge according to present scenario and growth, which makes proper implicationsto achieve goals. It is a kind of professional education, which aim to improve the professionalcompetencies and abilities of a person. Moreover, it also helps to contain long-term growthtowards achieving career targeting goals (Ang, Rockstuhl, & Tan, 2015). Emotional intelligentprocess helps to reflect the person self-awareness for self-evaluation and development process. Italso provides better growing performance through leader and employees can easily adopt thebest possibilities. This also makes the proper and effective control measures performing goals. Self-awareness depends upon particular situation or personality of a person. It is thepsychological term under which an individual is more conscious about its own traits, feelingsand behaviour. It is the process to know about more about oneself including strengths andweaknesses. On the other side, emotional intelligence is helpful for managers to motivatethemselves and others as well as to know other feelings and thoughts. It is essential and effectiveto learn more skills and threats to be done more clearly and thoughtful (Hughes, 2016). Being the manager of an organization, it keeps major score and better subjective forpresentation which helps to gain major goals and objectives execution. For that, self-awarenessand self-development are both significant tasks for a manager’s development. Managers facemany barriers while developing self-awareness due to workload in an organization. On thecontrary, sometimes managers fail to manage the work due to lack of ineffective performinglevel.Self-awareness is the most essential and challenging process for an individual to providebetter output performance. It is more enlarging, better and effective for performance goals whichis required to be maintained according to task performance of leaders and managers (Hughes,2016).On the other side, due to lack of communication problem employees and employers failsto perform an effective task together. On the contrary, self-awareness process leads to makewrong decisions and poor environment, which builds barriers for the manager to know anindividual’s strengths and weaknesses of emotion, attitude, values and perception etc. (Ott, &2
