INTRODUCTION
Self-development is considered to be a crucial practices which support a student to build
up a base to develop job career for future by improving themselves in term of employability
skill. There are number of chances that a student gets throughout their coursework in term of
class room activities to determine their weaknesses and get them improve. The current report is
based on self-development where 12 skills of a student that get developed through module will
be explained.
MAIN BODY
Presentation skills
It refers to skill that support a person in presenting his/her thoughts, information or
messages in front of larger number of people. This skill is considered to be one among the most
crucial skill which require by an aspirant for performing their job role effectively as there are
number of chances that get present in front of them where they have to represent some
information or thoughts in front of colleague to make their efforts work. So, at that time the
presentation skills remain crucial as it support a person to convey message in right manner.
During this module, I was assigned with a presentation task where I have to prepare a
presentation and deliver it in front of my class mates. From this I become able to learn several
things like to convey things correctly there must be a well-managed vocalics so it remains
herdable, proper use of para language should be there, must be active to listen the queries of
audience and respond correctly. Despite of this, I also learnt that forgetting the attention of
people listening is by maintain the eye contact, using more graphics to explains idea despite of
words etc. these all will support me in future work at job role.
