The chapter also explores the advantages and limitations of monitoring vital signs and the role of MEWS in predicting outcomes and recognizing early signs of deterioration. Nurses' knowledge and practice on clinical deterioration and the success of RRT are also discussed. The chapter concludes with the importance of monitoring patients for their safety to reduce the risk factors including life-threatening situations.
