The paper is focused in the elaboration of the three criterions of the mentioned three
topics which are shared governance, clinical governance and the self-governance. The chosen
criterions for the paper are excellent communication and interpersonal skills, contribute to a
safe and healthy working environment and High level of reliability and professional conduct.
The chosen topics are significant skills in the operations of the nursing individuals in the
health care industry and are of great significance in incorporating the much desired safety in
the operations of the health care industry.
Chosen Topic: Shared Governance.
Chosen Criterion: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The importance of the effective communication in the health care industry is observed
to be of great significance. I do feel that nursing individuals are subjected to significant need
of portraying the excellence in the evidential and verbal communication as it increases the
efficiency of the operations and that is much required in the production of the emergency
service. The effective communication of the nursing individuals is of great significance as it
enables the employees to efficiently communicate the health concerns of the patients to the
concerned multi-disciplinary teams so that it be easy for them to diagnose the issues of the
patients (Chaharsoughi, Ahrari and Alikhah 2014). During my professional experience, I was
able to exhibit the mentioned skills of mine for multiple times and one such case can be
elaborated when I communicated effectively with the patient party. It is seen that the patient
parties are significantly anxious with the illness of their beloved ones and under such
situation, I was able to show my communion and interpersonal skills to convince them that
the issue is not that serious and the patient will be cured with the service that they are
offering. The impact of the team work in the health care industry is seen to be crucial in
providing the effective treatment to the patients and under such situation, the skills of the

effective and efficient communication helps the employees of the organizations to overcome
any sort of conflict on the operations of them (Hartman and Crume 2014). Along with that,
the clinical handover is seen to be significant for the operations in the healthcare industry and
in conducting clinical handover, the employees of the organizations are responsible to
produce the effective communication and the evidences of the history of the patients
(Severinsson, Johansson and Lindquist 2014). Apart from this, I am also aware of the impact
of the therapeutic communication on the required professionalism to acknowledge the legal
and the ethical structures of the healthcare sharing.
Chosen Topic: Clinical Governance.
Chosen Criterion: Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment.
The safe and the healthy working environment is seen to be of great significance
among the healthcare individuals and the reason of that is pretty evident (Hoffman and
Chunta 2015). I feel that the healthcare industry is one of the few industries that have notable
amount of demand associated with it. The increasing demand of the market is able to produce
significant amount of work pressure among the members of the healthcare organizations and
that is the main need of having an effective team. The working environment plays a crucial
role in the operations of the employees inside the organizations as the important aspects of
the effective team work such as the team cohesion, bonding the and the quality of the
professionals in providing collaborative excellence are significant (Berry et al. 2016). During
my professional experience placement, I was able to handover the tools like the ISBAR so
that it be easy for the individuals in the mentioned industry to operate with a precise focus in
the aspects like the introduction, situation, background, assessment and the recommendation.
I do consider that the safety of the employees is one of the prime concern in the mentioned
industry and in that case, I am able to show the skills of establishing a safe working
