INTRODUCTION
Self-management is also referred as self-control and self-regulation. It is an ability to
regulate one's emotion and behaviour in different situations. This inculcated managing stress,
motivating oneself and working towards personal management and achieve academic goals.
Strong self-management skills are paying attention and follow directives. This report is based on
management skills is useful for future development (Abrahamson and et.al 2016). Further, it
covered monitoring factor learn and develop skills. Moreover, leadership is the most important
part to manage teamwork and improve future performance in working. In this report three skills
is useful for overall management. Skills are leadership, time management and problem solving
skills.
MAIN BODY
Management skills is most important part to improve running surroundings and help to
manage work in internal working environment. To improve business organisation carrying into
action some skills is had to be used in regular work. A organisation net profit and forthcoming
market share is calculated on skills to be used in external department. There are some skills to
manage work on time and increase the profit rate (Gee and et.al 2015). Business creates a job
opportunity because they need people to produce goods and services.
I encountered numerous experiences that will assist me in furthering my skills in different
areas of management. This easy is to be form, with the help of finding some most essential part
is focus on skills to ameliorate carrying out level. This is use to some most effectual part and
make some changes in total working situation (Kostera, 2015). I focus on the overall
development of organisation and make some changes as per need of working environment. I
tested the team leader skills test, as I was unsure where my strengths in this area lay. Lastly,

completing the assertiveness behaviour test provided me with self-awareness and how overmuch
work needs to be adjusted in this area of skill. I fell that use on some kinds of skills is more
useful and make some alteration in overall improvement in make some changes' growth rate in
market. Time management skills: - To begin with, I recognized that I don’t prioritise adjuratory
tasks, I instead absolute less complex work first, leading to demotivation and stress, as I
haven’t given the more ambitious work any attention (Lindebaum, 2016). To manage
time is most all important part and make some changes as per need of internal
organisation. I have learned that time management skill is useful to make some changes
in the overall working environment. It is essential to demonstrate organisation and the
capabilities to understand what work needs to be completed. Completing the self-
assessment test altered my perspective on where my weaknesses lay and I will now have
more self-awareness when completing the future tasks. This skill will improve the
success rate of work and also eliminate stress that revolves around university work. These
skills help to improve the productivity and efficiency (Daft and Marcic 2016). It is
essential I seek mentoring for time management, I want to acquire the skills to prioritise
my work and learn how to stay focused during the more challenging tasks. Team leading: - My strong abilities include providing a clear vision and direction for the
team. I believe that hearing everyone’s perspective is important in order to provide a
clear direction. It is unit leader’s responsibility to incorporate all opinions into one that
will benefit team (Tayur, 2017). It was made evident that I lack skill to raise
complications and concerns that affect outcomes of team, especially when there are

conflicting issues believe in a team everyone’s thoughts and sentiment are very important

Assertiveness: - Assertiveness in a business is a central feature of working towards the
future roles. By voicing an opinion to a higher influence, in polite manner, is the epitome
of self-assertiveness. It displays certainty in personal opinions (Maag, 2016). I believe to
always show respect at work but there are often times when fellow employees can cross a
line. Employees who are assertive and self-assured are what companies look for in
personnel. They need someone who assert their own beliefs without disrespecting the
surrounding peers. As I work in a business firm state of affairs, I realise how it can be
daunting to speak your mind.

In day to day life observation the skills is most important part and make some changes in
overall development. Some leader is help to develop such kind of skills in regular working
environment. There are several advisors at university who offer support for students who are
struggling to balance their management skills. Monitoring and evaluating any activity is so that
we learn from successes and challenges, and adapt activities if necessary (Bravo and et.al 2015).

In my own experience the mentor’s I have spoken with, have provided me with the skills to
practice asserting my dominance, and to understand it is acceptable to be wrong.
3. Help such skills
I have to maintain a positive attitude around team members. I must improve my
communication skills with surrounding peers and most importantly service as a role model and
become an individual that is approachable. It is imperative that I apply these skills to university
so that my team work productivity will improve, if my skills in this progress further. I want to
acquire abilities to strengthen my personality and have skills to bring attention to issues in a
group setting and provide constructive criticism (Verbruggen, 2015). I believe to always show
respect at work but there are often times when fellow employees can cross a line.
CONCLUSION
In this report is focus on self-management is also referred as self-control and self-
regulation. This report is use three skills of improvement in work and work completed on time.
On the other hand, different kinds of skills must be improve overall development and no doubt
that once completing the self-assessment tests, I was more self-aware of my strengths and
weaknesses. As per the above report employees who are assertive and self-assured are what
companies look for in personnel.
