INTRODUCTION
Learning is the part of the formal practice which has become prominent to led effective
personality or an exposure of the person more productive so as to led development of self as
well as working culture (Richard, 2016). In working environment, this is necessary to measure
on development of an individual to led skills, traits or competencies to be developed at a
competitive level of zone. In the current era of development, reflection over the scenario has put
major source of source for development of an individual. This report will be carry out on self-
reflection & evaluation to be known certain incidents or issues happened during work
environment. In this report, focus is given for doing analysis of any issues and problem happened
in context of work based/learning related. In addition to this, focus is to be given on discussion
over pursuing long term learning or academic theory. Also, this report will put discussion on to
the major discussion on how & why learning through reflection is prominent and usage of the
reflective model that is being useful along with its major discussion over relating this to personal
and professional development.
TASK 1
1a Reflection on a one week event
Introduction:
Reflective practice is one of the prominent regulation whose focus is evaluating owns
skill and competencies so as to rise long time performance and activities. The major aim of a
reflective practices is to identify and ascertain own skills from any critical issues or problem and
takes out necessary step or measures to improve own skill or traits (Crick and Crick, 2015).
Thus, major intention of this section of report is to put major light on event or light on critical
events or incidents and apply reflective model such as Gibbs or Kolb model which is based
repetition or experiences. Also, reflective model will cover discussion in context of I and me.
Main analysis:
Reflection is kind of an assessment which is mainly conducted by first person such as I
and me. This is useful to assess self or own ability so as to being learn more from any past or
present experiences and how it can be useful for future work and performance. When doing self
appraisal or evaluation, person is need to do conduct self reflection with defined purpose to get
accurate measurement of self skill and competencies in case of working environment. This level

of assessment is based on any critical event or incident happened during working in the firm. In
this, consideration will gave to reflective model such as Gibbs or Kolb learning cycle. In this
assessment, reflection such as I and me will be given to past happened incident or event.
In this assessment, I will try to put reflection on work based issues such as lesser skill
optimisation such as communication, interpersonal and other behavioural skills, less focus on
work as well as lack of technique based working in the organisation, I am working. I have to be
do reflection on how all these given below have reflected my performance or an activity into the
defined manner (arjú, Suvák and Dombi, 2014). Due to all these shortage, reflection will be help
to cover how all these shortage is responsible is responsible to major decrease in my
performances or capabilities. This event is very much significant for me as it would help me to
realises my own skill and efficiencies which is being necessary to increase my skill and
competencies such as communication i.e. listening, speaking and eye to eye interaction so with
the purpose to increase performance durability in myself. As, this event is critical and threat for
my career and success. This types of event is the significant so to bring change management and
eye view development of myself so to work in the most productive and necessary way. During
this tools such as skill development programme, effective T&D and learning & development is
highly realised critical or major in given point of time. In this, self intention and long term focus
is being on identification and analysis of long term working in the organisation. This kind of
event or an incident is helps to assist improving self curriculum and ability so as to grow in the
career. Also, this event is significant to grow expectancy and growth of my own career at major
& longer side. Thus, it is necessary to creates legal consideration or measures such as
implementation or T&D program (Abdulhak, Djohar and Wahyudin, 2018). Using this, focus is
being on development of own skill or competencies such as communication such as listening &
speaking and interpersonal such as interaction along with conflict management or handling in an
working firm. All these task or activity is to be utilises in most effective or productive way.
Given incidence was happened, first and foremost reason is self, because I was not in
trained in all given skill and due to my careless, I suffered with all given problem such as lack of
performances and capability and due to which I suffered with ineffective performance and task
which is not good for me and my career. As, this was happening repeatedly with me and in
response to this, I tried my every best to grow and work on all given skill and competencies so as
